Hey! Good choice, as usual... you should try to play it strumming down only to get a constant punch in the bass line. I like to strum down and up too (I even like to play up when I should play down haha), but sometimes you get an "angrier" sound going down only :)
I was taught years ago that I had to strum up and down to be more efficient, but sometimes that's not the point. I think you're right that you should do whatever helps to capture the sound and feel of the song. I note that it is quite common to see uni-directional strumming in certain genres, e.g., punk.
sounds great! amazing tune, but i think you should try playing harder, looks too blend and emotionless
