That was a fedex and ups problem they dont know how to handle delicate packages a lot of people got this problem so ups and Fedex had to pay for replacements

IMHO they used to be awesome, but now they are not. They are now just overpriced PC's (since they moved to Intel CPU's), with built-in LCD screen (I prefer replaceable parts, and CRT monitors, they have better image).

I have 2 Macs too, but they are too ancient for almost everything today :) PC now is everything :)

I think getting them shipped through the post is risky (i presume that's what you did?), always more chance they would get knocked about maybe than picking up from a store (although I appreciate they have to be delivered to a store by lorry - i presume they are more careful then). Hope your replacement is good and you are enjoying it!

I just got a 27 inch i5 iMac, and it was cracked just half an inch little crack, i called them, told me to bring it to an apple store.. and they wont replace, just repair... wtf?
