@snakeydnv Good question. Speaking from my own experience (having used this on over night video renders of 7 hours or more) I have not come across any condensation on the fan or on my laptop. As long as you leave both the in and out air vents unblocked, the air should remain dry. Although, I will say, the cold packs (not ice packs) do gather some moisture when their temperatures do come to room level. But so long as they're not physically touching the top of the container you should be fine.
@MrMTBDH Agreed. But hooking everything up prior to plugging it in only presents the risk of it not turning on. Basic electrical safety procedure is all that's needed to avoid personal injury.
As for saving time....yeah, you got me on that one. :)

Still, since the posting of this video, liquid electrical tape has been utilized as an extra safety step. (it also lessens total assembly time, by about half)
