  • The drivetrain is for sale...

The engine had 30-35K on it according to Inline 4. I have put another 15K on it since installation.

The engine is stock and the S4C trans has a Quaife LSD and Fidanza 8.8lb Flywheel installed. Injectors have been serviced at my work, DeatschWerks. Wire harness and ECU NOT included. $4500

Innovative Mounts billet engine mounts (Race (85A) - Grey) - $225

New IM shift linkages - $125

    Raxles B-swap Axles - $400

    No Trades, No Parting...

  • I have to watch this regularly in the winter while my b16 hatch is parked. Thanks.

  • why isnt the b16b tranny on it??

  • @stavy33 It does have the B16B transmission. S4C w/ LSD. The only thing I changed was the Quaife differential. CTR's didn't get the 4.85 final drive.

  • I'm jealous

  • Nice track ;)

  • very nice! =) i regularly go to hallett and have a spanking time there. looks like the quaife does wonders on turn 2! what speed do you pull through that?

left foot braking up to the hill leading up to the bitch looks good as well. what tires are you running? summer performance?

when i go up the bitch i typically get upto 8.5k rpms let off and let the car brake from the hill and power down clipping both apexes then down to 2 powering out.

    oh i drive a red EK with a JDM b18c R. =)

  • Thanks. Gauging from the tach coming out of 2 it looks like I'm in the 35-40mph range.

    I was on Nitto NT01 tires - 225/45-15.

If you have the JDM transmission, you probably have the 4.850 final drive. The B16B comes with the 4.400 FD, so that might be why our RPMs are different.

  • =) no i think we're pretty much even.

the JDM transmission is seperated into 2 versions; 96 to 97 type Rs have the 4.4FD too. =)

ahhh, you have almost a 300lb advantage and 25mm tire width more than me. but still a damn good drive. i run bout 1:34-35 anti-clockwise. sadly, it was my last time running this last saturday..

  • I have not modified the drivetrain other than the Quaife LSD...

  • yeah that what i kinda of figured, as time wise, what kind mod'z do u have on the engine it'z self, any internals? yeah it'z real bitch to get a good 60ft in the quarter mile!!! hey man u got'z 2 try again in the quarter mile i know that car can pull out a 13 flat, it'z all on tirez&reaction time 4 that 60ft! i know it'z not as fun as track driving, but it'z is so kool when inch yur way to 12.90-12.50 that is a super quik car!!!4 n/a of course!!!

  • that so tight that yur sister would do something like that with u!!! that too kool!!! hey have u ever did a quarter mile in yur car, i ask b-kause i got a ctr engine that i was going 2 rebuild and i wanted to know what kind of time it will put down, so i kind put some better parts in it where it might need, so if u can give me a little insight the for my crx !!! thanx bro!!! nyce vide0 too that motor took a beating and still ticking huh!!!

  • I'm no drag racer, I've had this car to the strip 1 time. My best time of the day was a 14.4 @ 100mph. That was with a 2.5 60'. I just couldn't get it out of the hole any quicker. :-/

  • @aayuuB lets hope its not ticking lol

  • @rayray891 yeah let's hope it's not...hahaha

  • @rayray891 Nope, not ticking. It's been a great engine. The car has been down all season for chassis improvements. Hopefully she'll be back and ready to wheel-to-wheel for the 2011 season. :)

  • What's your suspension setup?

    I.E.

    -Spring rates, front and rear.

-Sway Bars? Front and rear? Just rear?

  • I'm running Progress Technology's Time Attack coilover kit. The spring rates are 450f/650r. I'm also running their 22mm rear sway bar and the stock Si sway bar up front. I have Quaife's quick ratio steering rack and their LSD, also.

  • Man, you were flying. Very Nice!!! I like your foot work. That is where I always fall short. how did your brakes hold up?

  • Brakes did fine. I was more worried about the tires. I never pushed it in the brake zone before 2 because I wasn't confident the tires wouldn't lock up.

  • your also 700ish lighter than my delsol. That makes a huge difference. I have to bleed my brakes every time i go out to Hallett and thats with motul 600. Any way, good driving, it was fun to watch a fast Honda!

  • Well...you shouldn't be boiling a good fluid. Is the pedal staying hard or is it going to the floor when you don't feel like you are slowing down.

If the pedal is staying firm, you should go to a more aggressive pad.

If you are loosing pedal pressure, I would look to a different fluid and stainless steel lines if you haven't done that already.

  • Nicely done. What tires were you running? Stock b16b tranny gears? -uncleben

  • 225/45-15 Nitto NT01. Yeah, the transmission is stock...but I have a Quaife LSD and Quick Ratio Steering Rack.

  • That's some fast driving dude. You just keep your momentum up so high through the turns, it's crazy!

  • It looks like a blast, sorry I missed out. I'll get out there one day.

  • Chris,

You're fast out there! Nice driving. I was in your group in the white MCS but my best time was only 1:35.2
