Sigourney Weaver (Ripley) would only make a cameo appearance in the third film, with the lead role going to Michael Biehn's Corporal Hicks from Aliens. Alien 4 would see the return of Ripley "in an epic battle with alien warriors mass produced by the expatriated Earthlings." Alien 3 is a great film in my opinion it's the most intresting and have some fantastic acting i loved the hole movie i admit it was a bad move when they killed of Cpl. Hicks, Newt, it also is the most violent due to the rapists and the murders in the prison not to mention the gore and blood and swearing i enjoyed it very much :) good film 4 / 5 :P
that's what put me off....all that effort in aliens, and they just kill of Hicks and Newt at the start of Aliens3. you feel kind of empty... =( otherwise, the movie stylistically is great...the plot, somewhat hollow and a bit repetitive, acting is amazing. but yeah...Aliens is much better.
YA i agree totally it sucks that they killed off hicks and newt i mean hicks was amazing it was bishops who let the facehuggers on board i mean he was cool but he was programmed to do that remeber guys it sucks i know i luv bishop but he is supposed to do that but LOVED hicks too.
