  • My balls move too

  • but then again....i can see what you mean by it rolling back though....mmmm confused

  • I do believe in ghost but her tiny bit of elbow is poking out by his middle of his tummy 0.28 and he is hiding her the rest of the time....shame.....

  • Yeah there is a girl down the back you can even see her shoulder peeking out when the ball moves.....

  • Honestly you can't have a solid piece of video evidence when all of the people are not accounted for and the place isn't completely locked down.

  • dude waverly hill gohst are real so shut the fuck up

  • well i know for a fact that the lady you saw walking down the hall after the ball was rolled is in fact the owner and i know her personally and i know she would never stage anything like that,,,she extremely frowns upon it..

  • I have to say it is Faked. For me to belive any paranormal motion of an object. I need to see it start rolling in plain view.

  • One thing is if you look at the ball it rolls from behind wher the lady is seen standing but also it turns. It rolls but from one side and turns toward the doors on the left. Can we explain that one?

  • I don't think it was staged. I think the lady was positioning the ball and it is convenient that it looked like ghost activity, so they went with it. I think if they were gonna stage something it would have been during the actual investigation, not during set up.

  • These guys are so desperate, to have stage all these frauds to try and make their show betterl. They have products to sell -caps ,dvds, advertising space etc etc and you can't have a show with nothing happening now can you?

  • I would say from personal experience that place is haunted, although with no solid evidence I wouldn't expect people to believe me.. If these people did stage a hoax, I find it really irritating, as people like this do nothing but hold back actual science and progress in this difficult field, and make a real place that is haunted lose credibility, in the name of fleeting glory. If this is real and not a hoax, it's incredible that a spirit would have enough energy to move a ball that far.

  • i notice where the guy who is standing against the hall, say Tht ball was not there. than the women behide the camera Must have said or whispered something cause than he answers her by saying i didn't say hwere an she said OK...No why would she have to whisper?"

  • wait at 0;36 around tht time the women behide the camera whispers something to the guy against the wall, why does he pause,,than he answers something she had to of whisperd why did she say o- ok...its hard to explain just watch tht section..u dont hear her but she had to of said something for him to say tht pause than say something again an she said o- ok ,.,,lol,,,,omg im going CRAZY//

  • who are these ppl?"

  • you forget to mention the staged conversations...umm...right..five things...light..temperature...er..what else??

  • UnderManiac, if you ask the question, they had know you did it before filming supposed ghosts in this place, that's called "Intelligence"

  • Another reason it's staged. Why would they be filming themselves setting up? That is a waste of camera time, better used to capture ghosts. Just seems strange how come they film at that point. Nobody I know films themselves setting up equipment, there's no point.

    I hate hoaxers.

Check out hauntedhoax for great explanations of such stuff. By the way, he is a paranormal researcher, but with his feet on the ground, not his head up his arse.

  • Mystery solved, good job team!

  • If that be a mice you MAYBE doesnt notice it. Shes very little you know :P

  • If you ask me.. That "Ball" could be a mouse, and that shadow is odviously from the woman.. So this could also be debunked if not staged.. But.. you have a strong argument on all the planned stuff.. Nice job..

  • Wow. The Gullibility of people is astounding. Both from the people who believe it and from the people who stage this thinking there won't be anyone who calls bullshit.

  • R U BLIND MICE

  • Sad thing is maybe the ghosthunters dont believe in ghosts. Thats why they stage things. If they had the patience theyd capture real phenomena. But lie to the public for ratings is ridiculous.

  • @straightcleaner ur right..i have been investigating for years way before it was so popular an i hardly ever get things i have never captred any shadows or things moving i have heard thing an got them on tape evps...i have also got a few pictures an some i thought were ghost turned out to be opther things,,i am a strong believer but NEVER WOULD LIE i do it formyself cause i enjoy it,,,

  • It´s a little mice. :)))

  • i say its still haunted.

  • That's possible, but it can also be some guy playing in the hallway out of camera sight.

  • I don't understand trying to disprove one event like this. Whats the point? Are you trying to disprove ghosts altogether? Then disprove EVERY single experience caught on tape that every paranormal investigator has encountered. good luck with that.

  • Personally, I believe that any fraud in an investigation is and should be treated as a crime. However, any accusation of fraud must be supported with actual evidence that fraud has taken place; not just with mere assumption, speculation, or raw skepticism.

  • I do not know if this is a fraud or not. However, there are too many other possibilities that have not been ruled out.

On the EM issue:I am not an expert in waveform theory, but I cannot see how sound waves can be used as an adequate substitute for EM in scientific research. If you could point me to any reference materials on this, I absolutely will look into it.

  • I am not saying that acoustic waveforms are the same as EM, I am only saying that all waveforms behave in a similar fashion according to the base laws of physics and can thus be influenced by the environment in similar ways.

  • One final general comment: So many posters feel they must resort to foul language and name calling, and are otherwise unable to carry on a rational conversation. (I am speaking of the website in general.) That is why I rarely post. This is a pleasant change.

  • Agreed. It's great to see that when it happens.

BTW, the AAPI website is down because it was hacked not to long ago. Our director is involved in some pretty high level stuff right now so its unknown when the site will be back up. Hopefully it will be soon.

  • Also many of these older buildings had "waves" ( or "ripples") in the floor, which only get worse as the building settles with age.

The real problem is with the Paranormal/UFO/Ghost/etc., "research" groups themselves. Out of the hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of these groups only a handful are truly objective. The vast majority believe they are going to find something, so anything they do not readily understand is "proof".

And I won't even start on the out and out fakes.

  • I did get your question about Government related groups. I work for AAPI (American Association of Paranormal Investigators) as director of their Intelligence / Long-Term Investigations Division. We are a registered organization affiliated with the State of Colorado and regularly file reports on our investigations with that state's government.

  • The ball rolling on its own is actually a common phenomenon at Waverly that has been witnessed by many people. The actual cause of this phenomenon is still unknown.

One recent experiment idea is to use Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRADs) to test the behavior of electromagnetic waves inside the building. The theory is that ambient EM fields can be amplified enough within certain structural spaces to cause objects to move.

  • I have a couple questions:.

First, you said" One recent experiment idea is to use Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRADs) to test the behavior of electromagnetic waves inside the building. The theory is that ambient EM fields can be amplified enough within certain structural spaces to cause objects to move."

The LRAD uses sound, not electromagnetic waves. How could this device be used to test EM?

  • You are right about that. However since sound waves behave in the same basic way as EM, they make an excellent substitute. They are also less sporadic and thus can be more easily measured.

  • Thank you for your response. I went to the AAPI webpage, but was not able to coinnect. Apparently the server is down right now, I will try again later. I did go to the Waverly Hills website. It is very plain that their primary goal is profit, not research. I am not saying there is anything wrong with that in itself, after all we all have bills to pay. I simply am saddened when "hype" displaces research.

  • You are right. The Waverly Hills organization is for profit. They however, are not investigators and play no active role in the experiments that go on there. Their ultimate goal is actually to set up Waverly as a museum and most of the funds they take in go toward that goal

  • Contrary to popular belief, most paranormal investigators are not in it for fame or money. Many of us are scientists with degrees. Some, like myself, are actually affiliated with State Governments.

Our goal is simply to find explanations to unusual occurrences. Waverly Hills is essentially a working laboratory; used both to conduct experiments and to train new investigators.

All of the experiments performed here are fully documented and verified.

  • Sorry, I seem to be having trouble posting.

My second question: I was not aware that any state government had scientists(or anyone else) doing paranormal research. What is the name of you program and what state sponsors it?

  • Otaku155

Now what was that you said the light is clearly from the right so shadows of must be on the leftyou are correct the light is clearly from the right, however your argument is severely flawed. If you are a scientist and half as smart as a scientist with a degree should be you whould also be aware of reflective light and how light coloured floors and walls can be a great reflective surface and how reflective light can cast a shadow on the opposite wall.

  • The walls are made of concrete, not mirrors. Concrete will not reflect light at that intensity and any reflected light would be directed toward the floor anyway due to the angle of inflection.

  • Any light colored substance is capable of reflecting light. If you will look at 0:44, you will notice the lady's shadow on the right wall behind and to the right of the large fellow. The light is being reflected from the panel immediately behind her and on her right(our left). Also the walls appear to be painted. (Probably light/dark green- common for a medical facility of that era), and so will reflect much more light than plain concrete.

  • Again, the problem would be angle of inflection.

  • Maybe you are the one who should look at the evidence more closely, if you did and were a good scientist who had even a small understanding of light you would look around 0.42 and again around 0.45 because there you will see she casts a reflective shadow on the right walls (YES MR SCIENTIST, THE RIGHT) as she walks down the hall, the one at 0.45 is very clear... if you are a scientist you are a poor one...

    Score: Me 1 scientist 0

  • Now what else did you say, the actual cause of this phenomenon (moving ball) is still unknown, so how about a lesson on the subject of wind, draughts and air currents and how these things can affect a spherical object. This place appears to be full of corridors, from what Ive seen many windows are missing, the place would be a haven for draughts and air currents throughout these corridors, as for the moving ball in this video, that one is called kicking it with a foot.

  • Actually if you bothered to watch the whole video you would see where the shadows on the right were clearly pointed out, maybe watch it all next time before sticking your foot in your mouth.

So there you go sir scientist superiorlesson over for today, PS I wont charge you for these science lessons, consider them a freebee.

  • @lctorana202

(otaku155 Next time you want to ridicule trained Paranormal Investigators (one of whom, by the way, was a cop), you should examine the evidence a little more carefully.)

trained paranormal investigators? do you think there are scholarships available for that? lol..keep up the good work...lets see more..

  • @Otaku155 so what he was a cop, there the worse of them all, an u made no sence thus,,,wow. i like how u made a fool out of urself/

  • @Otaku155 lol you don't know shit about light man

Light reflects ON ALL SURFACES, only that it reflects better on certain surfaces. The light coming from the right can reflect on the wall on the left and then on the wall on the right. Go read a 10th grade physics book!

  • @Otaku155 never say anything negative about Waverly!!!!!

  • @Otaku155 I have been to Waverly Hills many times and I have lived here in this area most of my life. I have never once heard of anything happening there in the day time.

  • @Otaku155 You know, that being said, even after the debunk, as she is walking down the hall, her shadow is still on the right, which means that there can be another light source on the left... this footage could still be proof of a fake.

  • I would like to see a camera set up in the bldgs areas while theres nobody in there, with an independant co recording the video, that would put the pics up in 15-60 second intervals for viewing and capping,

  • there r reports of a lil boy named timmy up on thr 3rd floor who would roll the ball

  • You can see the lady in the back at :28-:29 moving around by the guy's belly. And at :15-:16 the guy looks back there ," like you ready".......

  • i do see some thing u did miss that i think is weird pause at 3:01 the move to 3:03 if u look down the hall u will see that right of the ball it gets a little darker then moves p.s. u see it in big screen. but it could gust be the camera thats me

  • that was pitiful...FAIL

  • that is as much paranormal activity as my ass

  • hey its timmy rolling the ball

  • L.O.L., I got yout joke.

  • Very good!!! I totally agree it was staged.Want to make a name for themselves. the owner probably had a hand in it as well.Need paying customers and this is the only way to get them. Fake haunting and then advertise it's Haunted. Got to make the Dollar

  • Staged or not, you've oviously never been to Waverly...it doesn't need any help.

  • Nice debunk.

  • bastard don't know how to get atention

  • Haha i cant even make out the shadow and wouldnt of noticed the ball if it wasnt pointed out! Worst 'evidence' ever!

I've seen proper stuff come out of waverlys proper spooky shit but this is just stupid and fake!

  • Yeah seems like fake.

This does such good for the reputation of paranormal investigators in general (sarcasm).

  • They wasted everybodies time, they were either too stupid or too lazy to try to conduct a real investigation. Idiots.

  • Yawn......

  • I wish I had as much free time as you. I work for a living!

  • this angers me......good groups like TAPS try to prove (and disprove) stuff and then other groups go out and fake stuff for attention. they cancel each other out

  • Yep, it was faked. No question.

I have no question that Waverly Hills is indeed haunted... but true hauntings are nearly impossible to truly catch on video.

That's why "research" groups like this one stage scenes like this one... so that they have SOMETHING to show people. They know people will watch it... and we do. It's just discouraging to those of us who search for true paranormal activity. And it's also pathetic. We know damn well ghosts are hard to capture. But don't fake it!!

  • Really good job debunking the video!

  • been there myself... Waverly that is. Is there activity there yes, I believe so BUT we also witnessed Waverly security banging on walls etc as well which to me was extremely discouraging and WRONG! My opinion, Waverly is just a money making thing. There is paranormal all around us. We don't have to go to Waverly and pay big bucks to have people trying to fake things to added thrills like Waverly and their secuirty

  • 100% fake, @ 220 if you look at the dudes belly you can see the shirt of the woman down the hall..228 you can see her look down to the ground and walk to the middle of the hall.

  • i believe that there is paranormal activity worldwide ,however ,dont believe 99.9% of crap on utube or anywhere else ,believe in what u see right in front of you cause its only when you see something personally and it is 100% unexplainable and you cant debunk it in any way that u can believe in the paranormal .this is 1 of the vids ive never believed as its quite clearly staged in my opinion . only trust your own eyes and your own intelligence

  • From around 29 secs on the original vid you can see the lady protruding past the unhealthy man (fat) stomach

  • Hey, thanks for steering me right.

  • People still believe in ghosts and the toothfairy?

    Buwahahahaha!!!!!

  • feel bad for you...

  • i doooo in toothfairy :(

  • There were just too many people contaminating any chance that video had of being legitimate. It saddens me that people will go to this extent to sell a tour or a DVD.

I'm supposed to go there this spring/summer and take a night tour (if they are still doing them by then) with my dad and brother. This isn't stopping me from going, but it does help me to keep a finer eye on my surroundings while I am there.

  • When someone truly believes anything without question, they will fall for everything...

  • At first, I thought that fat man was there by chance giving instruction. But, then Ictora pointed out some fishy things in the video. One inconsistency might be overlooked but not this.

  • well? the shadow belongs to the woman at 0:33.

  • i used to hang out here all the time never really seen anything..BUT! i challange anyone to enter all alone with nobody else around! i almost did then my flashlight died as i approached the entrance! fuck that! one other person no problem, but alone i would try it but i dont know if i would succeed! the emmotion/sadness that radiates there is stronger than anything you will ever feel!

  • There is no way this video was staged, The lady you talk about is Tina Mattingley the owner, the bigger guy in the hall is Scott a tour guide...i've been to Waverly Hills. I have pictures of shadow people and Ghosts.

Anything that you see there is 100% real...Stop trying to "Debunk" This truely Haunted Place!!!!

  • He wasn't trying to "debunk" Waverly Hills, he was saying that the people who made the video that he showed had staged it.

He never once said that Waverly Hills wasn't haunted.

  • The video might be stage but I can tell you that Waverly Hills is truly haunted.I've been there and seen it for myself. But you are right about the money.Waverly has gotten about $300 out of me in the last year but it's all for a good cause of restoration.

  • You know that when a video has comments disabled or "Comments Pending Approval" that it's a crock.

  • Exactly, you said it right there. Hiding from comments is a dead give away. But from my personal experience up there, money is what its all about. Ghosthunters wont be welcome there sooner than you think anyway, I wont go into detail but dont be surprised when the ghost hunter groups and paranormal type of people will be turned away and unwelcome.

  • I disagree. "Comments Pending Approval" is the only way to keep people from posting comments that are not well thought out or are full of profanity and have nothing to do with the actual video. Ictorana202 has allowed all of the negative comments, how is that hiding ?

  • I'm a believer in the paranormal but your videos are all great, especially this one that I'm commenting on. You are clearly calling them out on a hoax and gave great examples, good job man keep it up.

  • Thanks KrisMTL, you come across as a real common sense believer rather than the many head in the sand believers out there, you make your own judgement rather than just accepting everything that is put out there. All your comments have been greatly appreciated.

  • Good call.. I agree

  • Hey. I've been showing my fiancee some of your videos and she's quite impressed. Excellent work!

  • Thank you BluestFlamingo and Fiancee, much appreciated.

I see your Munchkin Suicide Humbug is doing a roaring trade, 20,000 plus views in 2 months, very well done, and your Ghost Photo videos, all excellent work, keep them coming.

  • 'Looks like most of your videos are doing well, too! Especially the ghost girl one... one of my favorites because I can't stand the original. So hokey! So, yeah, I'm bringing in a few live action characters / videos now, but I will be doing another ghost one in a week or two.

  • The place definitely has paranormal activity but as this shows this particular video is totally staged. Why you ask??? Simple, MONEY! Yes thats right MONEY! They need to keep interest peaked to keep people coming to drop 20, 50, or 100 bucks at a time. This is a truly unique building with strange occurences for sure, but money is what drives things up there, of course thats what drives nearly everything so it is what it is.

  • i was just there, and did the overnight stay, every shadow we saw could be explained away, no real experiences while we were there, except one flash of light from one room, and when I got home, i did find some interesting EVPS I think, but all in all I am not convinced, thats the skeptic in me.I will go back since paranormal things dont happen on command.

  • After watching this video and knowing Tina (the lady that walks down the hall)and scott (the man in the middle) myself I would have to agree that this was all setup. The first time I saw it I knew that something was up. But I do have to say that I have seen the ball roll out into the hallway with nobody there and I have been hit before by the ball when it was just a couple of people there. The building is truely haunted, there should be no reason why they set things up like this.

  • Thank you for your excellent comments.

Too many see this as debunking everything that happens at Waverly Hills rather than what it is, just debunking the actual original video, I am not trying to question any of their beliefs or experiences, just questioning individual videos that have been put out there.

  • The only way to experience this sort of activity is yourself. Other people can't be trusted. sadly.

  • Thats Tina Mattingly, the owner of waverly

  • Watch around the guys belly and you seen the woman at the end of the halls arm pop around...so she was moving next to ball

  • I knew this was a fake from the moment I saw the actual video of this. I wondered why the fat man was standing in the hall like that. Then I saw the lady's arm as she was kicking the ball. It's so retarded when people fake hauntings like this. All it does is discredit all actual evidence of an actual haunting. Waverly Hills is haunted without a doubt. But it's morons like these who try and ruin things with their fake videos.

  • I guess the lady in the back made the ball roll in a cirle. And the shadow you show shows up in the same place weither the lady is in the back of the hall or almost on the camera. You are not taking it all in , just picking it apart where you wish it to be fake.

  • OK, a round ball can only roll in a straight line, I must remember that..

and I await your video showing us the same shadow when she is near the camera.

  • I wont even bother with you any longer. No matter what anyone shows you you will never believe or understand.

  • What are you on about?

"No matter what anyone shows you you will never believe or understand"

Are you for real because you have shown me nothing...what do you want me to believe..that the ball goes in a circle, we have different ideas of what a circle is, it curves but it doesn't go in a circle, and there's nothing paranormal about a ball curving.

And as for a shadow when she is near the camera, get off you backside, make a video and show me instead of making claims you can't back up.

  • Challagar -- Yes I am sure, and I watched the Ghost Hunters Live moving ball segment...did they catch the ball rolling, cant say I saw any rolling ball ...simply not impressed at all.

  • I've seen that video and I noticed the same things you pointed out! Good Job! I'm going up there this summer and I want to see something real not this set up shit!

  • Thank you, hope you enjoy your visit there and get to experience something real.

  • r u so sure of yourself? watch the live Ghost Hunters episode where they catch the ball rolling

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahaahahaah
