Two things: one, you are horrible. Two, this isn't on hard. You couldn't tie your shoes on hard. You obviously must be playing online cause the bots are only a little better than you are.

I played this on normal first and i can only agree that one hit means almost dead on normal as well,and this is not hard.but still a good way to fight this thing,i got myself the gatling gun and then i hided behind the wall on the right.

Firs off, it's not called 'giant akrid'...This here is the Chryathis Queen...

And secondly, an alternative way to kill it is to keep shooting it in the head with a Plasma Cannon every 2 seconds...Once she's stunned, keep doing it until she dies, and I guarantee on any difficulty, you will have no trouble killing her...

i did normal on this thing it with my brother we got our ass kicked but we beat him...it was only easy for u i guess cause u werent on the ground and there were more people...for me my brother shot from the sides (on the ground not on a platform) and i stood in front of it dodging and shooting like crazy

dude...i do it the same thing online on hard dificult,plus one of my partners catch the another vs gatling gun and still we take a lot more time to defeat him,and on hard his arms grows a lot more fast than in your gameplay....it takes about 3 or 4 stuns to kill him,not just only one...unless we are doing something wrong,in that case just tell me if i'm missing something =p!!
