ok what in the world lol, I got the sound correct but I cant get it to keep the sound going ,like it keeps dieng out mis the lfo supose to be all the way up? its starting to really bother me now like one important I must have missed, decay sustain releases all the way up with the attack down? the envelope sam settings, and the filter half way an bring up with the renosance way up as well? what am i doing wrong?
@Benji7905 you said the keys weren't used, and after following the hint you gave me I was still unsuccessful, something i was doing was ether wrong or missing
@Benji7905 im sorry now im lost, I have ableton suit 8 , would it be possible for you to explain exactly what is going? I know my questions are probably annoying : (
Very impressive. Can you explain a little bit the setting of the juno 106 please?
And have you try it without the Boss MT-2 pedal but with the big fuzz distortion of guitar rig (which is its software emulation). I want to know if the result is comparable. I'm still wondering if software is as good as hardware.
LOL I ACTUALY GOT THE ROLLING N SCRACTHING SOUND WITH THE JUNO 60 VST, IT SOUNDS MAD CLOSE I HAVE THE BOSS MT-2 BUT I DONT HAVE AN AMP SO IT DIDNT WORK SO I USE ABELTONS SATURATOR AND PUT IT ON HARD AND BOOM ROLLIN N SCRACTHIN,LOL
@BLAZE45 The Juno 106 is just a Juno 60 with midi and a few differences. They are 95% the same. the VST will get you nowhere near the Rollin & Scratchin sound though.
@Benji7905 IDK MAN IITRYD RASING THE PICTH LIKE THE 106 AND IT SOUNDED NOTHING ALIKE EVEN WITH THE PACTH, HAVE YOU DONE ROCK N ROLL? YOU SHOULD UP LOAD I DID HBFS WITH THE MINI MOOG RACKS
It doesn't sound as good as it should but you can make most of the song exactly the way you hear it with the Juno 106. Why don't you try playing with it and get it perferct.
I'm 100% sure that they use a 106 and a Boss MT-2 for Rollin & Scratchin and Rock and Roll. You can see the 106 in Rollin & Scratchin on the D.A.F.T. DVD. And they didn't use the 303 that much. Most of their early synths sound was the 106, the midimini (rack midi version of the Minimoog) and ARP Oddysey.
Hmmm Daft Punk is house....but I don't hear this as house

@BLAZE45 I'm not just pressing one note. Even if it's just one note playing, it's a one bar sequence in Ableton being played in loop

@BLAZE45 the keys aren't used because the Juno is controlled by Ableton...

BLAZE45 1 year ago
@BLAZE45 yes it does, there's everything you would need. Except for a filter that resonates the same way a real Juno would.

are you sure they uses 106? I felt like I've seen a live video where they uses 303 + 909 to make most of the song.

its there any juno 106 vst mod ?
djmarzek 3 years ago
Yes, the TAL U-NO60 and TAL U-NO60 2, but it doesn't sound as warm as a real Juno. I'll try to do the same patch on it to see if it sounds the same.
Benji7905 3 years ago
yo thanks! :)
djmarzek 3 years ago
hey man any chance u made that patch on the u-no60? would love to run the u-no60 through my mt2 :D not quiet sure how to patch it though!
discojockeys 3 years ago
I tried to do something similar on the u-no but it sounds nowhere near as good as the real Juno
