  • romekdo77.....thats because it sounds nicer for real.....just bought one a couple nights ago and i literally sat in the shop for about 45 mins playing both a prri and a drri......lets just say the princeton came home....love it

  • nice crocs

  • call me an idiot, but the princeton sounds nicer to me that the deluxe reverb.

  • The Princeton reissue is the closest to the real thing fender has. I own tweed deluxe a 1960, the reissue is not close. I own a 72 twin, the reissue is not close, the super reissue is thin, not close, but the princeton reissue, i am impressed with. The deluxe i can take it or leave it. Been playing for 44 years, still play every fri and sat. I am an expert on Fenders. Have owned over 46 amps in the last 11 years, before that, I have lost count.

  • @124slowhand Can you gig with a Princton Reverb? Or will it get lost in the mix? I live the tone and for my price range this is as about what I can do without going into botique amps.

  • Oh, and a master level electrical technician to get the amp to its prime 100% tone. Ahhhh..... ^_^

    Life is good sometimes....

  • Great Demo..thank for sharing! Love that amp..one of the ALL time great amps and still going.

  • This amp sounds too small to me.

  • What guitar is this. I want to hear the new Am tele deluxe with the N3 noiseless in there. Why cant you do this

  • Middle aged man wearing crocks = closet homosexual......

  • @earjwee Wife or kids prolly dress him. Like my ex tried to. Nice sounding amp. This or the deluxe reverb for a hundred more?

  • SLEEP WALK!!! great sounds!!!

i just inherited a princeton 65 DSP and Im in China so I sort of popped the fuse since I got the wrong voltage transformer..do you think I have to worry about some damage happening? I got to change the fuse and it can be used now..but Im kinda worried of any small damages...like..The dirty channel is seeping through the clean channel at times..at a very faint level...

  • SLEEP WALK!!! great sounds!!!

  • I cant w8 anymore! (this is then, in your the past). But I put a deposide down on one of these babies. and its going 2 explode my Jazz/Alternative/Rock sound in all my fans faces! no more slugging around cabs and over priced shitty combos. this is the real deal people, you want a protable sound that has clean head room for all your bestest stomps and time managing effects, this is the one 2 poon over!!!

  • @cosmicwatcher89 Why have pedals with an amp like this? I have just been shown how much you can do with a single channel combo and a really sweet guitar. I'm so blown away to learn what the old guys found out 60 years ago with amps like this and a Les Paul. It's beyond crazy. I haven't stopped smiling and feeling like life is worth living (just being dramatic) since I was shown this aspect of electric guitars for the first time in my 42 years of life. Proper EQ, volume control, technique. :)

  • 65 Princeton reverb or Custom vibrolux reverb?

The first is 300€ sheaper what's the difference besides more watts, is it worthy?

  • if yu want "crunch"...get a "pedal!! thes r clean a nd warm amps .

  • I think the Deluxe Reverb was comparable in quality of tone to the 'Twin'. The 'Princeton' sound was nice but 'smaller'! Nice playing Jeff!

  • Nice amp ! love the sound...nice shoes too : )

  • Why all demos on the Princeton are clean? Can it actually crunch?

  • @triviani1234 These aren't the amps you're looking for...

  • @polishbroadcast

umm.. I don't mean Marshall crunch, I mean a bit of the "sparkle" the tubes can give to the sound, not crystal clear all the time.

Where does the princeton star to "bite"?

  • @triviani1234 Blues Junior might be a better fit if you are looking for saturation at "keep your hearing" levels. It has a master volume so you can saturate the preamp with gain (ie. the tube bite you are looking for) but keep the overall volume low.

  • @polishbroadcast

    Thanks for the advice!

The Princeton sounds awesome though ;)

  • Just got one, love the tone, nice playing, shoes are Crocs, the most comfortable lightest shoes on the planet, go anywhere even in the sea you name it.

Beware of fake Crocs! check the spelling underneath is Boulder,Colorado not Bouldcr Colorado.

  • Doesn't matter what amp Jeff plays on...he's the best!

  • After listening to the DRRI and comparing to this Princeton I'd say the Deluxe sounds much, much, better.

  • Phenom?

  • @gregmm1960 My exact reaction.

  • Nice shoes.....

  • those red necks in arizona call the police if you dare invade their desert space. if you invade those stupid red necks with sound

  • cool

  • Duh, I should have recognized it as Sleepwalk. I love the original composition by Santo and Johnny and various other renditions such as yours but I did not recognize it at first. Great job.

  • Yeah, The shoes are cool!

  • Sounds great. What is that a '50s I III V IV progression?

  • its a song called sleepwalk.

  • hi there , do guys have this amp in stock ? what is the price and a phone number were to call. thanks.

  • Dad! Where you been?

  • why isnt this guy bringing it like he normally does??!?!?!

  • Wow.

  • Treblin' guitar...treble!

  • "Phenom"? That is typically reserved for an up and coming young player.

  • I thought it was reserved for The Undertaker :)

  • Nice shoes dude.

  • I'm glad they reissued this amp. My real 65 will probably double in value now!

  • I doubt, but anyway, good luck
