  • Stop Hatin Larry peeps. Larry was screaming at the ref to stop this fight as he was "gonna hurt this man". He felt like shit. This wasnt a victory, this was an embarrasment for both of them.

  • I love when mike tyson kick holmes ass

  • A shadow of the former man...Only financial greed bought him to the ring.

  • After the Fight. Larry Holmes Visit Mohamad Ali on his Locker room beggin Ali not to fight anymore

  • This version of Holmes would have beat Tyson.

  • Ali's time came and went(like time does to everybody).Whatever happened to the time I had a broad mind and narrow waste? Now I have...uuugggghhhhhhh

  • With his profound faith in God, Ali went against His will for whatever reason and risked his life in the process. '78 was the fairytale ending and the book should have indeed stayed closed, only to be opened by future generations to marvel at The Greatest, rather than the sad and pathetic way he went out. Anyways, his legacy will remain intact and he will, no doubt, be welcomed with open arms in paradise for his humanity.

  • If both were in their primes, it'd be very close. Holmes was his sparring partner and he could offset alis jabs and give him trouble.

  • the piano song name?

  • ali should have retired at least in 78

  • Ali was washed up at the time and already retired.

  • 2:08 I AM THE GREATETHHH!

  • He cared

  • what is the piano piece at 4:16 ?

  • tyson>holmes>ali= tyson>ali

  • @stk0789 fanboy

  • Ali is the greatest heavy weight boxer of all times bar none

  • Yea Tyson would have pounded your ass.

  • if ali was in his prime and not suffering that would of been a brilliant fight

  • @binary191 Doubt it man. I think a 1967 Ali would whipp him with his fast jab and superior footwork + reflexes. I'd say he might have knocked him out in the late rounds with a right hand lead.. People forget that Ali, in his prime, had some serious power, especially with the combination of speed, the punches landed hard. I think it would be a unanimous decision in favor for Ali, with Ali barely being scratched.

  • @michaelyouth Yeah Ali's power was amazing in the 60s. Ko'd Liston one shot. Zora Folley a 4 punch combo with the double right hand that could barely be seen. Brian London felt 12 punches in 3 seconds. The jab that knocked down Patterson. He had the perfect combination of speed and power.

  • Holmes got to see first hand what 38 and in the ring vs a younger champ would mean--vs Tyson. Holmes was a great fighter, but got a couple really close decisions starting with Norton in 78-Witherspoon and Carl the Truth fights could have all gone either way. He was robbed in the Spinks rematch though.

  • Muhammed Ali is a tard and a draft dodger. Your no american and americans should care very little for someone who fought in our country but didnt fight for it.

  • @mrkmfranck Rednecks...

    Or do you prefer Hillbilly?

  • @mrkmfranck no vietcong ever called him nigger. why would he fight in a country who didn't even fight for him?

  • @mrkmfranck In all fairness the Vietnam was a joke -50,000 american troops lost their lives in a senseless war-Muhammad Ali made the right decsion for refusing to serve-that is why Nixon ended the war-Muhammad Ali did what he thought in his heart was right -and that took guts also

  • @curtisjones400 Yes he did. Ali probably would not have had to go to Vietnam since he was a celebrity. They probably would have had him go to Germany or South Korea, and would have continued to fight and make money. He knew that but chose to make a stand anyway for what he believed in. He took a stand for blacks who had little freedoms in the US and even whites who had to die in a senseless war. He sacrificed all his money and the title. Thats a true hero.

  • @mrkmfranck You mean you should care very little for someone who didn't fight for south Vietnam.

  • it's kinda touching to see how respected Ali was and to see ow others spoke of him

  • wow george forman is so humble , he annihilated joe frazier twice, but he still say it enough for him to be called with santence with frazier , it enough for him, amazing

  • The Zaire fight was a huge mistake, both in strategy and surroundings. Ali was just bigger than the game. Only he would ever be allowed to fight on the ropes the way he did. Oliver McCall tried it in Lewis II and they tested him for mental illness.

  • the problem with Ali was he never knew when it time to exit, but also there is mothafucka don king and all the entourage who seduce ali to get in fight, eventhough ali could not even pass pointing his finger to his nose test let alone fight larry holmes at his prime

  • BIG JAB!!! BIG JAB!!! DIG IN BIG JAB!!!!

  • Larry Holmes, viscous motherfucker

  • @tie32101 he my cousin

  • @tie32101 Larry Holmes was a good guy. He wasn't viscious, boxing is viscous. Ali is viscous. Holmes was just good.

  • Larry Holmes was in a no win situation here and I think he was all class. A great champion. 22 straight title defenses. Legendary streak. Ali chose to fight him and Larry accepted of course. He respected Ali and frankly imo held back from really hurting Ali this night - he literally was looking at the ref late in the fight like saying "r u going to stop this fight or what?" Thank God Angelo Dundee stood up to the Ali cronies in his corner and stopped the fight when he did.

  • @aitraining I think that whole "cocky attitude" Holmes had was a front. I think on the inside he's a softy and a genuinely nice person. He tells it like it is and I thought he had balls challenging Tyson even thougth he knew he would get destroyed. Ironically he was the same age, 38, when he fought Tyson as Ali was when he fought him.

  • @alexfromiami13 You know that Tyson got knocked out by Buster Douglas right? Buster "Hot dog eatin'" Douglas. Tyson sure did knock out a lot of bums before he went to prison I'll give you that. But he never really beat anybody who had any talent. We never saw Ali's prime, but I would say, prime Tyson vs Ali of 1967 = Tyson gets knocked out in the 8th round.

  • @ssimon64 Don't bother bro. These Tyson kool-aiders have no clue. KO'd meatballs and was shot at 24. They also forget Buster ko'd his ass before prison then Evander blows Buster away 6 months later in 5 minutes. You man up and Tyson never overcame obstacles many great champion had (changing trainers, promoter, Prison etc). Ali and Foreman were out much longer than Tyson and came back champions. Tyson alone chose to not b prepared. Deal with it "Tyson Marks"! :)

  • @aitraining Say what you want, Ali said himself that Mike Tyson would whoop him.

  • @saulhudson420 lol he never said that ....

  • @BlueMonstter Yeah he did. /watch?v=ki4UKsI8bms 3:10. There you have it.

  • @saulhudson420 listen to him carefully he says " if he hits me i'd be like (does action) BUT ONLY IF HE COULD GET ME "

  • @BlueMonstter You're telling me Tyson wasn't fast enough to catch him? He outsmarted Foreman. He wouldn't have been so lucky with Mike.

  • @starbuck078 Oh bullshit! Every guy Tyson ever beat was a bum!

  • @dosh228 I think Ali was 38 at the time of this fight. It's hard to deny that Ali was the greatest IMO. Heavyweight champ 3 times. 56 wins, 5 losses, three of those losses avenged, the last two occured when he was over the hill against much younger opponents. He was banned from boxing for 3 and a half years during what would have been his prime, yet still had an outstanding career.

  • There was six years between these 2 guys at the time of this fight, Ali 36 Holmes 30 blame the management the fight was never earlier, i really doubt Ali is the greatest

  • If there were some kind of time machine built today, and we could match up any great heavyweights against each other, in their primes, this would be near the top of my list.

Holmes vs. the Ali of the second Liston fight! Would be great.....

  • As a huge Ali fan, I seriously can't watch this, Ali getting punished like this.

  • @MannyMMA me either man, its almost like watching your bestfriend get beat up and you not do anything

  • @MannyMMA if ali was younger and fought him then you would feel sorry for holmes

  • @The2pacproductionz indeed.

  • @The2pacproductionz Stop overrating Ali. He was one of the best, maybe the best of all time but he was no superman. A younger Ali fought Ken Norton 3 times. They were even. Holmes and Norton also had a very even fight. Ali-Holmes could go either way. I'm talking about the 70s Ali.

  • @panzergrenadier1941 It would be a very tough fight indeed. But Ali of 60s would beat Larry holmes easy.

  • @panzergrenadier1941 That was not a younger Ali at all in the 70's. Yes I know he was just in his 30's in most of his good fights in the 70's, BUT he was still not in his prime. Not all boxers are able to carry on years and years, and keep a lot of their skill together. The first time Holmes thought he was better then Ali was when he trained with him for the foreman fight in Africa. Holmes thought he was giving him a hard time, but ali was only perfecting his rope a dope.

  • Ali should of retired after Joe Frazier part 3

  • MAyweather should watch this - FIGHT PAC MAN U PUSSY

  • @tomboy287 yeah man u tell it like it is, ali fought how man opponent like manny pac as to mayweather, twice liston, three times with frazier, first time with floyd patterson, larry holmes ( lost but courge what what count here) and also big kahuna george forman. and this pussy floyd gayweather stiill acting a pussy to even one time with manny pacc, he pee everytime he hear manny pac name. what pussiest boxer of all time

  • You cant hit what your eyes cant see. Tyson fought aggresively and wild, if u determine the dynamics and geography of the fight u win, and thats how muhammad fought. He fought smart, not hard

  • Prime Holmes was a dangerous nigga with a good jab

  • Мухаммед Али велчаеший боец

  • We owe a big debt to Larry he could have killed Ali.

  • Can everyone stop whining about Larry going easy on Ali, the challenger. How many of you people who said this was sad were actually alive to see Ali fight? Larry is a great champion and one who should, but doesn't get the respect he deserves from the boxing community. I challenge anyone to show me a sharper fighter than Larry Holmes or a better jab.

  • 4:20 I cry :(

  • @copperkipper1 Me too. Just terrible.

  • @Starbuck078 Tyson humble?? give me a break.

  • @megadmanz Thats True Mike was a mis Guided Asshol Who 9/10 times rushed to fighter to help em up after he nocked em out.

  • @Starbuck078 Oh sure a guy who wants to eat children is humble yh etc .ps ali has achieved far greater things and is ranked higher than tyson is and im a tyson too u know. also why u being rude for i know i wasn't. Holmes and Ali 2 legends.

  • @megadmanz just like Tyson he had a big mouth 2 but the cracker isnt boxin anymore in the video now is he and he is stil beatin his chest in the vid "Tyson is no Ali" Greatest Fool off Oll times you mean who had a lucky streak fighting Bums Who fought even bigger bumbs and kept there belt for a While.Mike was a killing machine straight forward going for the kill.Mike vs Ali ...Ali would be dead meat period.

  • @Starbuck078 tyson can have harder punches . and he can even be more stronger . but im sure his hands cant hit what his eyes cant see . ali is speed , u cant kill what u cant catch .

  • @megadmanz and btw i was talking bout Mike beeing an asshol not you i dont know you so i cant say that.

  • @Starbuck078 Thanks, they both had their ups and downs during their careers, but both have gotten humble after they retired, both are good champions.

  • @Starbuck078 Mike Tyson would break your fucking jaw for even thinking like that. Of course he can still speak... are you that much of an asshole? Ali - never bites ears.... even without his memory. Fucking mark

  • They were both great figthers. Ali's physique was great for this fight, I really think that the stars were just out of sync this night. Maybe just 3 or 4 years before, ali would have done better, but even still here to me Ali never took a bad beating in any fight 'WELL NOT REALLY" AND DIDNT IN THIS FIGHT EITHER...i MISS THEM BOTH IN THE RING. I really do : ( . .

  • 10th round Ali was just a boxing bag. When Ali was in his 20's then he was the world best boxer!.George Forman was the hardest puncher!!.

  • Can you imagine if Ali was just 5 years younger what kind of fight this would`ve been

  • tyson was in the making when this fight happened lurking on the horizon

  • of all them five, Aliv wuz da greatest alright...the greatest retard who prolly don't remember who he is....

  • Larry Holmes was a great boxer and a nice man!.

  • @53foxer agree!!!

  • @53foxer He is still alive dude..

  • @53foxer i agree larry holmes is the best and ali was always trying to mocker his enemies before the fight(This is why i dont like him), he was making fun of them like a little girl and thats not box! he almost kill joe frazier in the manila fight!

  • Prime Ali slaughters Holmes like a goat.

  • Tyson would have split Ali..tyson comes in and hits with bad intentions while ali fights while backing away....ali would have been a victim in the ring against IRON mike

  • Boxing aint the same without ali

  • @FlashMambaMagic23 Ali robbed himself of his prime. He was lucky to get out when he did. If the FBI had not illegally tapped his phones he would have stayed i prison longer. I always thought it was disgraceful the way Ali portrayed Frazier as the white mans champion after Frazier had stood up for him in prison. I personally saw Ali as a decisive figure in American sports history who didn't know when to quit and is now paying the price

    for his arrogance.

  • @andrewr62 idk what kind of bullshit are you sprouting, Ali never went to prison.

  • @ANormalGuy That's right. He was sentenced but never imprisoned pending appeal of his case. My error.

Maybe wishful thinking I was respected his ability but was never a fan.

  • @andrewr62 stayed in prison longer? he was never imprisoned,

  • this is not Ali... this is just a tired, old, veteran of boxing. Ali was suffering from muscle pains (and hands too) and sometimes was a little shaky ('cause the effects of the Parkinson Syndrome were beginning in that time). Ali is still the Greatest of All Time! [forgive my English]

  • u can but wish that these two met in their prime imagine what kinda fight that would be but in my opinioin Ali would have KOed him in the 9th round Ali has a heart of a lion he can take so many punches and still stand of his toe's as if nothing touched him larry holmes on the other hand is a great fighter but once he is hurt his hurt he doesnt take damage as good as Ali was in his prime so i reckon Ali would have tired him out till 9th and fucked him up

  • i dont thing ali would beat holmes even in his prime, also forman is the only one who still has his marbles

  • i agree with everything ali said. When he quit, a bit of the sport died with his departure. Boxing never was quite the same competitive yet respectful and reputable sport

  • that does ali say at the end?

  • YOUTUBE THIS IM FAST AS ALI

  • George Foreman is'n guter Junge..

  • This fight was obviously over even before the ring announcements had finished. Holmes is sharp and focused of mind and body. Ali is all over the place.

  • larry we love you champ

  • I wonder if having a great jab and being underrated are somehow related. Think about it, Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis, two best jabs of all time, two most underrated fighters of all time. I'd take a prime Holmes over a prime Ali any day. It's not because Holmes is necessarily better. He just has the stylistic advantage and with the physical tools of Lewis plus his exceptional self-control and boxing IQ, I'd take him at almost any point in his career over anyone and not look back.

  • @bigmoney749 THANK YOU!!!!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT

  • A prime Ali would fuck up a prime Larry Holmes? If anything I think Holmes would of beat Ali based on styles & Holmes easily dismantling guys that Ali struggled with & lost to in his prime. We will never know for sure. Either way, certainly two of if not the two greatest heavyweights to ever live.

  • A young Ali would beat Larry any day

  • Ali es un chulo de mierda

  • Comment removed

  • @AJ786G K.

    Loser.

  • Part of being great is knowing when to quit. This was not even Ali's last fight.

  • @AJ786G

hahah you fucking retard shut the fuck up

  • Wow Ali actually has his hands up :3

  • @AJ786G

    Fuck off gay cunt

stupid cunt, you don't know anything about boxing so shut the fuck up

  • @AJ786G Are you retarded ? You know how old Ali was compared to him? Smh

  • one of the last matches of Ali.

  • Ali's worst fight ever.

  • Ali would destroy Holmes is his Hey Day. ALI watched in the audience and he had a huge smile on his face when Tyson knocked Holmes the hell out.

  • guys prime ali vs prime holmes wouldnt be an ali blowout. im sure in 3 holmes would win 1. ali kills slow aggressive fighters (liston, foreman) and has trouble with nonstop crowding opponents(frazier) but the worst style matchup for him would be a non aggressive heavyweight who boxes. holmes would cause serious problems for ali

  • @messier991102 damn ur stupid

  • @dragonfurp how ali would have major troubles with holmes, to say he wouldnt would be ignorant, nobody is unbeatable and ali isnt a special case,i said ali would win, but to say it would be easy is idiotic, ali is great and so is holmes.

  • @messier991102 i can agree with that

  • with muhammed ali did it say 97 KO's or 37?

  • @884bigal It says his total fights were 61, so it's 37

  • Larry Holmes is the last of the great heavyweight champs. Tyson fizzled out but is the last big name. The problem with Holmes is that he followed Ali. After Holmes its just been a bunch of alphabet champs.

  • @rpby82 damn your ignorant

  • @bluekeet actually Holmes and Ali were very good friends. And I remember seeing Holmes crying in an interview after this fight becuz he felt soo bad

  • Fuck Holmes for putting a beating on Ali, it was all unnecessary punches.

Thank you Mike Tyson for knocking down Holmes and pounding his head real good, ty Mike.

  • @bluekeet fuck you bluekeet for being ignorant. Holmes was begging the ref to stop the fight. He wouldn't stop it. Also it's easy to look at Ali here and say he's washed up but at the time in Ali's last fight two years previous he had just won the heavyweight title from a young Leon Spinks.

  • @jmlbloom Fuck you! you ignorant fuck!..........If Holemes really didn't want to hurt Ali he would quit on his stool or block all of Ali's hits and and not hit back, but no he felt he had to beat him up.

  • Holmes said he felt he could have bet Ali in his prime. he would have regretted tht

  • @prayforme111 Ali the Racist the Punk the arrogant ass whole? he wasn't racist, the white man came into Africa and took our black brothers and sisters into American made them into slaves thats racism. when we didnt have basic rights such as eat in white restuarant thats racism! The Punk, the guy was the greatest boxer of all time and was so clever a philosopher. Its not arrogant if you can prove your right! he stood up for blk ppl, noone will ever knw cos he was muslim! dont even say racism

  • Is this a fight? Ali offered nothing

  • Ali! The racist, the punk, the arrogant asshole, backstabbing disgrace getting what he deserved! God bless Frazier and Holmes for beating the crap out of Ali!

  • Ali been fighting for more than 20 years when he took this fight.

  • geez , didint realize the pre-fight mind games of ali!

  • just so sad no happy ending to boxing but this one you can shed a tear,, god bless holmes too i think was a bit gentle to ali in the end

  • proof that ali sucks!

    just kidding

  • This would of been a close fight if they were in their prime. I wouldn't assume Ali would automatically win folks. Frazier was REALLY close to winning 2 of their 3 fights.

  • larry holmes showed mercy here in this fight god bless him

  • at least holmes had the respect to give ali respect if that makes sense holmes new ali was shot god bless them both true warriors

  • is this guy the reason gangsters started calling easch other holmes? Hey,, what up holmes lol.

  • @tonebone8 no LOL..... homes as in like homie

  • a young larry holmes facing a old ali?

  • No George, most people will remember the way burgers cook because of you.

  • Larry Holmes is the most underrated fighter ever

  • good fighters. ali was old, but he was the one who took the match. for people say holmes fought him past his primes. shit, all greats fight other fighters past their primes. marciano, holmes, tyson etc. they all fought fighters past their primes. i always loved holmes. he had the best jab in the buisness.

  • ali is the greatest!!

  • For me this is hard to watch, not only as a boxing fan who loves muhammad ali, but as a human being, knowing whats happened to this man in later life, really sad. God bless Ali.

  • @Rockyfan10060 You are Rocky fan, so i expect for you to be a Ali hater. You are extremely jealous of Ali. Why? Is it because he had the HEART OF A LION, and didn't fear no fight? Rocky marciano fought fighters past their prime. So get off of ali's dick you stupid bitch and kill yourself. I see you comment on Ali's other videos too, you are so jealous of him that you hate him and obsessed with him lol..

  • @Impetrate420Justice Relax, don't feed the fight...

  • Thats what i'm saying, Larry Holmes was a pussy to fight Ali here. And Ali should've never fought when he was at this state

  • Why would Ali fight here? It makes me sad, you can tell he was weak and offbeat here. The diseased made him i'll and not the same again, you can tell here. But he haves the HEART OF A LION.. A 32 or younger Ali, he would of fuck Larry Holmes up, and thats fact.

  • @Impetrate420Justice No doubt about it. ALi in his prime would have done the same thing to Larry Holmes that Mike Tyson did to Larry Holmes. See Holmes vs. Tyson. :)

  • @Impetrate420Justice you musnt insult L.Holmes. It wasnt his fault it was made up by don king. Respect Ali for standing 10 rds

  • @Impetrate420Justice Tyson got him back

  • what he seay about tyson in the end?

  • @Wierzba65

Tyson came along. You watch tyson he's good but he's no muhammed ali.

  • Ali had Parkinsons here, and he had to take pills to lose weight, but got malnutrition s he got tired in 1 round

  • Like watching bunch of apes fighting ova a banana in a zoo lol

  • @rpby82 and the funny thing is those apes have way more money and happyness more than you lol.

  • @kahledyouth yh wish I had parkinson disease and a 40% chance of brain damage. That would make me happy. Oh and by the way, you mispelt happyness.

  • @rpby82 and you misspelled (mispelt) and parkinsons.

  • It makes me sad to see these five great champions, and know that there will never be fighters like them anymore.

Holyfield is the last great champion still active, and i just cant see where the next Ali or Holmes will come from.

  • there is missing two loved boxers: Roy Jones Jr. and Mike Tyson

  • Sad fight, makes tears to my eyes.

  • casius klej legenda !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ali should have stopped boxing after the 3rd frazier fight or at least after foreman he would have retired a champ

  • ali = overrated piece of crap who only beat scrubs...lost to the best

  • @jmarra37 You = retard. Larry Holmes would have lost to a prime Ali, no doubt about it. Holmes was young during this fight and in his prime, Ali was 38 years old and way past it.

  • @41BobDylan You can't say that because no matter what you think or anyone else thinks the fight that should have happened didn't happen. But I will say is this Larry Holmes use to be Ali's sparring partner. That's how Larry got such a super great jab he learned from the best Muhammad Ali. That is the truth.
