Thanks. The painting was all done in our building which is by no means a paint booth. We got rid of as much dust in the building as we could before we painted. There was some dust in the paint, but we took most of it out with the wet-sanding.
thanks a lot for the comment. wiring can be tricky, just be sure you make good notes and label wires while they are still attached. also if you can pick up a wiring diagram for that car, that is a big help. if you decide to get a new wiring harness, just match up the new wires with the old, they should be color coded the same. good luck with your resto!
SWEET!!! You guys did a great job. I am doing a 71 chevelle. Lots of hard work paid off for you guys.. Enjoy the car because its beautiful. Great job on the vids too.
very nice man! Definatly looks mint with the Bigger torque thrust rims! Very cool car! Just wondering, is it hard to spray candy paint? I love the colour it realy pops!
candy paint is very tricky. i would not recommend it unless you have a lot of painting experience. That was the first car I ever painted and it was very tricky. If you see the car in person you can see some uneven spots. The trick is to spray it perfectly even, but without a really steady hand and a high-priced paint gun, a good candy paint job is hard to achieve.
Thanks for taking the time to post this video. I have a '67 SS hard top that I have been wanting to restore, maybe this will be the motivation! Cheers!
That might have been his first run ever and that's a very mild 350. That 350 is something anyone can build and afford. Typical times for what it is and most people like it. Not everyone wants a $10k engine.
Screw WMG...They suck...Just let the guy use the song....you fat rich vultures.

in this video, why did the wheels keep changing on the car
do a 75% overlap spraying candy and don't use full trigger and it will come out more even
you don't see the uneven spots in the sun with candy paint
