  • everybody has to play oboe, because it's the best instrument EVER

  • I REAAAALLLYYY want to play oboe I've played flute for 2 years, almost 3, and I play a little clarinet, not much, So I hope to start renting and learning to play oboe soon.

  • I love that so g lol I play clarinet sax piano drums and guitar lol

  • Just started today and I can already Blau half the scale, coming from the flute (:

  • I play saxophone but I really want to play oboe, but i cant :(

  • I love it!!!! I had auditions on a flute recently and my director asked me to try the oboe.... Are there some notes with the same fingerings as a flute or do I have to learn them all?

  • I play clarinet but my band director asked me if I wanted to try the oboe for the next school year I said yes but now my mom is making me change to a school that only has jazz bands. I'm so pissed.

  • i would love to play the oboe !

  • hey i play sax clarinet and bass clarinet would oboe be a good switch?

  • What reed do you use??? :-)

  • So in all honesty, what is the difference between the oboe and the clarinet. I mean all I can tell is that the oboe is more higher pitched.

  • @minicm122 oboe is double reed. it is much harder to play due to tuning

  • is this at Mooresville????? what year?

  • This was a fun little video :)

  • I play the clarinet but my band directors say i blow to hard and now im thinking i shouldve played oboe cuz i LOVE the sound and everyone says i have the lungs for it

  • pocahontas x)

  • You did a very good job. I have been playing oboe for 20 years and you are very well informed. Where do you live and will you play in college? I think you would be a great teacher. I would think of the embouchure as more of a whistle then a smile though- it greatly improves tone quality. Bravo!

  • thank you i started playing today and i love it! it's also helpful because after playing flute for 8 years, i can play the note on flute and then know if i'm playing it right

  • This was really helpful. because I'm going to start learning oboe <3

  • awome i need help on where to put my fingers and this help a lot

  • Thanks for doing this
