@o0StrayKittY0o Well I have all of my guitars strung with 11's except for my Telecaster which is strung with 12's because I like a huge tone and I like the guitar to fight back a bit. It would be highly unusual to have heavier gauge strings on the top and lower gauge on the bottom; I've not heard of anyone doing it before. I suppose you should just try it and see if it works for you. To be honest, if I were you, I'd be inclined to just stick 10's on there first of all and see how you like it.

@IFulcrum LOL i like teh feeling of the low gage cuz i can speed up woith it. and im afraid to change my gaguge soon since my band is entering a compitition. XD i have 10 on my acustic. and frankly my speed decreeses. its iether it sound realy quit but fast, or i cant get my ryt hand to pik fast + hard. u kno think string have more wide i tilt the pik more. im usuing a 2 mm pik. everything sounds good xept 4 the high e string and sum tym if i pik too ha don teh b string.

I read that they told him to use a pod for this gig . This comment was among other videos, but I assume this is the one, since this has the worse tone.( I mean the amp, the guitar playing is amazing). So how can they do that to Guthire Govan.? And I guess it's worth using all money on one fine amp, then trying to get a real tone out of a lots of pedals or a multi fx....FOR Concerts.
