You should read the manga (there is a site dedicate to translating the manga). Good stuff, expecially since is the only way to read/see the 'Takuma vs. Bryan Hawk' fight...which is a damn good one.

I'll check out the AMV you mention :D and I totally agreed with the tons of AMV that are uploaded which have no real editing to them, just a really long clip he likes with the song in the background.

It's Hajime No Ippo and im not sure about an English dub but there are English subs out there

The full japanese name is "Hajime No Ippo" and yes it is now available in the U.S.A. on dvd with full dub, and it is called fighting spirit as sojirokaidoh2 mentioned.
