Even though I served in the Army, I actually got kinda pissed off when a co-worker of mine was told to take the Marine Corps flag he proudly displayed at his desk off by upper management, even after he served in Iraq. They gave some bullshit reason, I can't remember, but people were allowed to post religious quotes and stuff. Neither of us lasted there very long. Matter of fact, I do remember when he told the supervisor to get the stick out her ass and fuck herself with it when he left.

I never forget our Marines, as My Daddy is One of the Proud USMC. My father was a member of the Merchant Marines during WW2, and the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He told me once that he came to believe that, even though he died in 1999 still proud of being a Marine, and received a 21 gun salute at his funeral, basic training was a form of abuse and brainwashing. I just cannot say enough that I love our military, and respect all branches. I am a proud American, and step-brother of two dead Marines. Both my step-brothers were killed in Iraq in 2008. I have the highest of regards to all former, current, and future Marines, and give you the most genuine salute. The only reason for the Mexican war was to massively extend and legalize illegal slavery and to steal more than half of the land Mexico inherited from Spain after a long struggle for independence.
