@jaxtheman I know! I'm too much of a pansey to cover any... except 45... which everyone hates lol. But that's okay... I've always wanted to cover "Broken". Beautiful song. Hard to sing.
Nice, I always like seeing how songs translate to acoustic. To me acoustic just has more soul or something. Also, side note, after how many years of me commenting on your videos and being a youtube creeper I'm finally learning how to play guitar and harmonica. But harmonica is the easiest instrument to learn...anyways, well done.
@BigVicLopez Ha ha, good for you! Hey, maybe it just wasn't the right time yet :) as long as you're enjoying it. I have never really liked the sound of the harmonica, except in certain songs, so I never picked it up. And I totally agree with you about hearing songs translated into acoustic. I think acoustic is just so soothing and beautiful! It really brings the melody out and a totally different emotion.
Don't know the original, but for sure this version of yours is very well arranged and performed... and expressive, by the way, because, each time you play and sing, your heart always comes out!
Hope you're doing fine, Danielle! Have a great everything!
@danbergam Ha ha, if there's anyone I can count on to comment one of my videos within 24 hours, it's you :p thanks again. Go listen to the original! I love his voice when he sings soft. Not so much a fan of his other songs, not that they're not good, it's just his raspy voice.
@danbergam Gracias Senor. I was surprised I'd learned it as quickly as I did. I stayed up late one night stumbling all over it, and then I put it down for a couple days, picked it back up and started playing it like I'd written it lol. Talk about internalizing ;) I'd never consciously experienced internalization, but it was pretty amazing! I was so stoked!
I must go to bed now though. Feel free to continue commenting and we can pick it up tomorrow :)
Really, there are songs about which one'd say -I could have written it- because of music, mood, lyrics put down exactly how you'd have! It's surprising for that specific choice of notes and words... but, at the same time, it maybe isn't: feelings are what make us so similar, after all, no matter how different we are!
The same happens to me (more relating to than internalizing), with "On my own" by Nikka Costa and "Dreaming" by Malmsteen!

Haha, I know, sometimes I'm kinda... the quickest commenter in the world or so! xD
But, well, it's just that it's always a pleasure to listen to you play and sing, whether it's a cover or an original! ^_^
Now. I listened to the original... it's already sweet by itself, but you've definitely given a femal and an even more delicate touch to it!
