I think this is a great promo... It actually shows some personalitly, these days, its about beautiful people with no personalitys , and the ones they have a very fake, which is even worse.. same can be said in radio in the cap cities. Bring back the fun in TV and take away the marketing wank!

Pretty much agree with your comments "Listener" but have to disagree on this occasion.

I think the NRL Footy Show is generally GREAT entertainment.. they don't take themselves seriously and there is little EGO involved.

It is light years ahead of the EGO laden.. "Pen" pushing (What is it with the ballpoints they have to hold) .. non talented CHEAP looking RUBBISH GTV calls the AFL Footy Show.

This is NOT about the code either.. the AFL CRINGE Footy Show is absolute waste of air time.

Love the promo.. esspecially the Sydney version but I think you will find this aired in 1994 not 1995.

Derryn Hinch was hosting the Midday show in 1994 before it was axed in that format with him at the end of that year.. so this promo would not have aired in 1995.
