  • *o* TEACH ME

  • OH! There. I have finished the spinning flasher. Although not as good as yours, I see how it works now. The original flasher has the middle base fold, and this variation negates that effect. Again, thanks for the crease patterns.

  • Hi there. I was wondering how you make the flasher without ripping the middle base, since whenever I follow the crease patterns, after a while, a gaping whole appears in the middle of the top.

  • @canonselphycp You have to prefold everything. Then gradually crimp it starting at the outside edges and going around the edges eventually collapsing it toward the center. Little by little, not too fast, and don't force it or it will rip. It will finally collapse into shape.

  • @OrigamiTourist2010after i colapsed it i soaked it in water but it wont rewind fat help me plz reply

  • @gabrielrockstar03 I don't understand the problem. Restate it more clearly.

  • Thank you for the crease patterns. :D

  • This isnt the same as the one in the CP, the one in the CP is the Easy Flasher with 9 iterations I think. To me, it looks more like a Radial Flasher pleated.

  • @origamimaster4716 It is the same. It is made on a 9x9 grid. The Easy Flasher is 7x7. I didn't know about the radial flasher before someone else mentioned it. I actually made one when I was trying to figure out the pleating for this.

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 When I folded it, it is a 9 Grid Easy Flasher instead of the regular 7 grid. Plus, in the video I see diagonal creases (not corner to corner) on it while the CP doesnt have it.

  • OK, I just spent hours looking back at what I did so long ago. This was my first attempt at a spinner and I made many variations. The one in the video is different from the supplied CP which is a 9x9 Simple Flasher, the only model whose CP I have permission to give out. The video shows a variant with a different pleat structure rotated by 45 degrees. I'm sure you're clever enough to figure it out but don't worry about alignment to the corners. That was just luck.

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 I am still stuck though:)

  • @origamimaster4716 Just print the CP, extend the lines, and draw a square around it at a 45 degree angle. Then redraw it.

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 Ok!?!?!?!?

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 Is it related to a radial flasher?

  • plz tell us how to make it!!! tut plz

  • Its a flasher

  • Make a rideo how to make it

  • can u please make a vedio how to make it plz

  • Who here can say that they figured out how to make this on there own? I can its really easy. If you know how to make the hexagon spinner, you can easily find out how to make this.

  • @joetheheadcrab Not that your rude, arrogant, ignorant comment deserves a reply but I decided to anyway instead of deleting your comment and banning you. THIS TIME. Just FYI, it is the CP I created and made the flasher in the video from and made available upon request. Maybe you need new glasses. Or maybe just some humility and respect my little boy. I notice that you go out of your way to undermine other people's accomplishments and yet I have not seen anything remarkable from you at all.

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 i am 28 and i simply wanted to make constructive criticism, i am least active on youtube and i am working my ass off in architecture school so back off, these are cool spinners with interesting radial patterns, but i simply thought that this was made from a 22.5 grid, it just looked like it because of the radially pointed tips on it, i did not mean for my comment to sound rude arrogant and ignorant, it is simply the product of the perspective of the video, I am sorry, (next)

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 maybe , we should handle this like gentlemen and shake our hands and drinks some tea, eh?

  • @joetheheadcrab Apology tentatively accepted pending no further insults. I'm a coffee drinker personally. ;)

  • @joetheheadcrab I'd hate to see your version of DEstructive criticism then. As for your alleged age, all I have to go by is your many immature, condescending, derogatory comments on both my and other people's stuff, your all-lower-case writings which resemble the lazy text messages typical of young school boys, and your pretense of being the all-knowing self-proclaimed origami expert. (cont.)

  • Back off? Why should I if you go and insult me, my hard work, my generosity in even supplying the CP, and everyone who visits this page? What about your comment wasn't rude, arrogant, and ignorant? Perspective? You mean the direct overhead perspective that clearly shows the CP if you pause it in the right place? BTW I sent the CP to Jeremy Shafer and he sent me back his CP for his Easy Flasher which did not have the iso-area twist at the center. Identical to mine save for one less pleat.

  • @OrigamiTourist2010 I do not have time to edit my comment so that I may properly talk to you, I am not all knowing and that is a simple misjudgment, For the last time: I AM SORRY. I
