No one really uses an OCD for its better tones. OD is not always about gain, any OD can get gain. As Fuller states the gain on 99% of all ODs is on or off, the OCD has dynamic response no one seems to get in demos. Not once did he roll the tone off. Heavy dark boost is great on this pedal.
unity volume for me is very important especially is you sometimes switch between the amps natural gain and the pedal at high volumes or in live situations... in any case great pedal...
@KjWaRRiOr12 If your driving a Hi Gain tube amp. The Ibanez Tube King is perfect for metal. All of the youtube demos of it dont do it any justice at all. I use one with my Marshall JCM 2000 and I play everything from Alice in Chains to Slayer. Best dist5ortion pedal ever. Even with the stock tube. Put a hi gain Tung Sol in it and its a total shred machine \m/
