I hear very little of Stivell in this piece .most of the backing is Davy spillane on pipes and whistle. In fact the overall theme is Bill Whelans (of Riverdance fame ) and can be heard on his CD "East Wind " with Andy Irvine.This CD is fantastic and uses themes from Bulgaria that Andy had picked up on his travels. By the way the James Joyce estate has now given Kate the OK to use the Molly Bloom solliquay as she had originally intended and the song will be issued in this fashion soon

I have uploaded the track from "East Wind" , it is called ANTICE and is a Macaedonian tune collected by Andy Irvine in the late '60's .If interested the first track of CD is posted under Andy Irvine Davey Spillane and others - East Wind a great listen.
