@Mzroudy09 No you cannot. They're in the dermal layer of your skin, not just on the surface. You can unscrew the top part and put new jewels, disks, etc on it, but you can't actually take out the anchors. To remove them from your skin you will need to get them cut out.

Surface bars reject much more often and worse than microdermals because the bar is stiff whereas your skin isn't. A microdermal placed in a low friction area will stay for years as the skin actually grows into them a bit forming a bond.

The first and last one I barely felt going in...the middle two hurt like a bugger and I have a good pain threshold... it just depends really where you get them and stuff, mine had to be worked in and I could feel it being pressed against my bone (not the piercing just the friction)

I have bee doing this longer than you have bee alive!!! and you cant "just pop them in the skin" on the hip, some dermal are 3/4 inch long and have to be worked in to the hole. I have 20 youtube PRO'S come in the shop a week. and there a lot of nerves in the hip area. and these are not skindivers. and the ones I use are twice the size of the hole I put in the skin, I do not punch a big ass hole in people.

The guy who pierced this OBVIOUSLY knows what he is doing...when I got mine on my hip they didn't just "pop" in, they have "feet" what they call and they have to be worked in. Different skin types handle it in different ways. With mine they had to work it in heck of a lot harder than this one. He said in a way it's good because they will be less likely to reject but mine took about ten minutes either side...So no they don't just "slip" in...

I just got mine done and i love them, the reason i wanted these over another piercing is because these have a less of a chance of rejecting. I would definatley recommend getting these done they are so cute. I also have my monroe, tongue, nose, vch, and bellybutton pierced, and now these two dermals (one on each sides of my hips) and what hurt the most was my tongue, but everyone is different, just do some research on them if ur thinkin of getting them done and good luck!

@love4ferrets there's a tiny hole in the piercing which, after about a year, you skins grows with/in so it's very rare these piercings reject :) the only downside to this is that if you want them removing, they HAVE to be cut out, unless you remove them very shortly after them being pierced.

@begger2011 they dont scab over at all really just have to clean with salt water but be careful not to put to much salt to muchcan mean it will dry it to much and irritate it making it very sore .

@Temperments yes! before the camera starts rolling we clean and sterilize the table the client is laying on and we sterilize the area of the body that the piercer is getting ready to perform the procedure on. we don't film that part because or clients don't need us to state the obvious.so to answer your question yes everything has been sterilized with more than just an antiseptic prep pad.

@ThePiercer123 Don't like a needle because the point punctures the sub- tutanious layers of skin and causes bleeding.from underneath the anchor and tries to push it back out the hole.i think it heals quicker by using a punch and causes little to no scaring.

i would say hips 3 chest or anywhere with more muscles n bones 4 - 5 my hips didnt hurt bad at all until the second one but chest it was a bit more painful but would say more discomfort than pain
