  • This looks like an average winter day in Anchorage.

  • Wonderful vid, thank you.

  • I hope we get another one of these this year! I went up to Eldora the morning it started dumping and barely made it home that evening, but it was awesome powder!

  • Ugh, I remember this. We had just moved in from warm, sunny New Mexico!

  • Why do all Canadians like to tell the U.S. people to go to Canada and see what the winters are like. WE GET IT, it's cold.

  • wimps lol come to canada and youl see a real winter

  • @anglefox Wimps? I used to live in montana. We never once had a snow day for something like this.

  • @anglefox Canada is for fags. So fuck off you dumb slut

  • @Pedwily lol your funny , but no reason to be rude , and im not a slut any more, but dont be meen to the sluts thay have alot of fun and so do ther friends :P

  • O.o awsome

  • why when is snowing don't ocurr lightnings? i never seen lightnings during a snowfall ( sorry my english)

  • @Willd86 It happens trust me.

  • @Willd86 Because usually for lightning there needs to be warm air mixing with cold air, and in a snowstorm its pretty much all cold. Where I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada we get thunder snow every few years...

  • the blozzard had snow going on for like 5 days and the snow stayed for liek 1 month

  • i wish it snowed in houston!!!!!!!!!!!!! luckys!

  • ya but it is soooooo sooooooooooooooo cold i like the way it looks but it is so COLD

  • well at least you had a white christmas! lol

  • i live in stupid england and there no snow, well not as much!! i SO want to move back to my hometown denver colorado i loved the snow sooo much as a little kid. i even camped out in my yard with my huskie 'maze' ;)

  • @dollarmaker105 um in devon we got 30cm so beat that!

  • hey guys i live in canon city and when you guys got that snow storm in 2006 we almost beat you we got 27 in 24 it was great also every weekend for 6 weekends was snow, some deep some just a dust but all in all the blizzard of 2006 was the best

  • hey i was just in canon city on a school trip it was amazing we were staying in a koa camp sight!

  • hey guys i live in westminster colorado and two weeks ago we got 28 inches of snow and got 3 snow days it kicked ass

  • Westminster got at the most 16" two weeks ago, Jess. I live here too, let us not be all drama snow hyped.

  • So pretty

I went to Colorado during January, its so pretty

  • dudes just to let you know that on 3/26/09 there was a 22 car pile up in ft collins and local hospitals in the path of the recent blizz were not bringing in victims but bodies thats right you heard me bodies not victims may they all rest in peace

  • that was on higway 75 right?

  • i mean higway 76

  • my home state :) we are supposed to have another blizzard close to this one starting tomarrow in the morning!! and again next wednesday

  • I'm in Lakewood, Colo, but was living in the city in 2003 and 2006. This one was not worth driving in for several hours (no offense, but people from California and Texas can't drive in the snow) but it isn't nearly as bad as back then.

  • I wished it snowed in Los Angeles. The best thing we have to snow is hail, and that comes only once or twice a year.

  • I hate snow I'm from Buffalo

  • Does Denver often get snow like this?

  • Recently yes. But in the past no. Coloradans ftw!

  • It seems to happen every couple of years; rather cyclical, I think. But when it does, it's absolutely awesome... until it starts to melt and freeze and melt and freeze.

  • Oh my gosh the potholes. They even set up that "pothole hotline" so you could call in the worst of them... there are some on Broadway that i would swear are still there from that winter.

  • No School!!!!!

  • lucky!!!!! i live in LA and it has only snowed once in 14 years

  • i can't wait until winter agian.

  • Che culo di merda.

  • i never get snow where i live =[

  • you guys are lucy

  • this is nt a good blizzard come at quebec ull see that its 2 times biger then that(about 40-45 cm)

  • lol good try. this was 30 inches! that is a little more than 72 cm (which is quite a bit greater than 40-45 cm). before you comment, do a simple conversion next time ;-)

  • my mistake...i meant to type 76 cm; but still...you get the point.

  • If you are talking 45 cm, that means 17 inches! Ha!!! We got over 40 inches in March of 2003, within 2 days. That amounts to 101 cm. You don't even know what you are talking about!

  • haah i remember that, there was no school for like a week.

  • wow. and i thought we had snow bad (NE WI) (we had 100 in over the whole yr) our biggest snow storm was just over a foot and 1/2. but wow. thats...thats so awesome!

  • God. This storm broke our biggest tree in half. One hell of a storm.

  • mine to it was like wtf were is the tree and the tree was not there anymore because it was away because of the storm and we all were like wtf were did the fucking tree go? we saw no tree because it was gone with the storm you know it was really weird waking up without the tree because it was away because of the storm really strange really the tree away but yeah in summer the tree was back so it was not weird anymore without the tree that was away because of the storm

  • are you on drugs!?

  • i remember this... good times alright

  • The music in this video is just to cry for.

  • Wooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! My HOME TOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I had just moved here from Minnesota and was told that the snow just melted in Denver. Ha! Your all liars! Minnesotans know how to plow and salt/sand the roads so you aren't stuck. This year theres no blizzard but they still believe in the "let it melt theory". Please learn from Minnesota!

  • Minnesotans think they know it all.

  • haha! i remember that, i had to go to bed with like 4 blankets!!! it was completley freezing.

  • i loved the blizzard..we shoveled for 7 hours just to clear the driveway, then we attempted to fly out the day after, but NO WAY...so the next day we waited in lines for 5 hours...the best part was being able to jump off my roof and not get hurt at all...it was awesome, I LOVED IT!!

  • I just left the ski area when this happened, though it took me NINE hours to get home!!!

  • snow in texas

  • I live 50 miles north of denver in Greeley and i wish we could see this every year!! It was sooo peaceful and just a big blanket of WHITE!! Just incredible to see.

  • I live in Denver, and I hop we never see crap like that again. It was terrible!

  • what part of colorado is that?

  • When I lived in denver, less snow than that closed the roads for a day or so til it melted. My friends said that this one had Denver shut down for more than a week. That's crazy! Hope you guys learned you lesson and lobbied the city for more snow plows because it could happen again. Up here we have just under 45 snow plows and we have a population of about 100,000. And a snow like that is normal here although the last few winters have been very sparse.

  • jeeps anyone?

  • nice video dude.

  • Would you be so kind as to send that snow up here to Minneapolis as we have none right now, my poor snowmobile is being neglected and I do like big snows so I can do a city run thanx.

  • Hey man I thought Minnesota was the ice box of the country.... do you guys get alot of snow each year? I know it gets cold there
