@webb0406 We got the trailer 2nd-hand for £150 in 2007 - it's helped people move house 5 times and moved many tonnes of logs, so definitely a good one!
not a bad idea, seems like a lot of handling of the wood. 1 cut wood, 2 load, 3 unload and load into rack, cut, 4 load back into trailer 5 then stack at house.
@fupa74 Yeah, it is a lot of handling, but as our woodland is a few miles from the house there's always going to be several stages - we don't have space to process wood at home, so only the finished logs are back there. For us the main thing is that it lets you process logs in bulk without having to spend thousands on a log processing machine.
