  • Well it'll def end with 7 it's 2012 now and (SPOILER ALERT) Florida sucks and Tennessee is gonna be back on top!!!!! Hope ya had fun bammers, and gators, cuz it's all over. The best teams in the sec as of 2012 will be Tennessee, LSU, and Mayyyybe South Carolina lol bu thet bottom line is it's our turn, and we WILL rub it in....for a looooooong time. Hope you like the song rocky top cuz it's coming to your town and it'll be played ALOT

  • And the curse of dallas baker begins.Vols have now lost 7 straight years to florida...its a beautiful thing.

  • this was my freshman year at UT, and is still the best game I've been to out of close to 20 UT games. we were in the endzone where Wilhoit kicked the winning field goal. go vols.

  • Did we win? lol

  • As a florida fan, this was probably the best game I've ever seen, I sat on the opposite side of the field at about the 20, and I was just Little kid so I didn't know any stadium could ever get that loud. I remember a guy sitting a few rows up from me constantly saying ' fuck the gators, fuck the gators' and all the tennessee fans kicked him out, those were some of the nicest fans ive ever seen.

  • 1st tennessee game i ever went to!

  • one of the best moments in tennessee history ever. wilhoit misses the extra point and comes back and hits a 49 yarder to win it... CLUTCH

  • hell yeah tennessee woops ass

  • That was the 4th best UT vs Fla game that I ever saw live.

    3rd 1992 rain game

    2nd 2001 at UF

1st 1998 UF miss in OT and a record for pulling down a field goal post.

  • Gators suck then until 08 and now suck

  • good ole rocky top :)

  • six 6 in a row for the almighty florida!

  • @scoreboard221 hey guess who has the most Fball history and what about basketball? you fags think ur good but u suck cock

  • goose bumps

  • Hey... Nice kick. This was six years ago. Maybe UT can finally get another freak win again soon. I used to wonder why my relatves in Nashville were so into fantasy football, then I realized, it's the only kind of football they have.

  • @BikerBorg AHAHAHHAHAHAH. You're so goddamn funny. Because as we all know, having the 2nd highest win percentage in the SEC and having one of the top 10 winning percentage in the history of college football is nothing *extreme fucking sarcasm*

  • Comment removed

  • @SpearMaster Won any titles lately? (cue cricket sound)

  • @BikerBorg Wow, that was a freakishly dumb comment.

  • Florida gators are better

  • holy cow, i got chills! it gets SO LOUD! and that's just how neyland is too!! ahhh, i love bein a vol!! :D

  • i was there and saw it go through. FREAKIN AWSOME

  • Yeah, I was at that game in the student section and we didn't know he missed it until the section behind him cheered and then we all knew and ran onto the field. Me and dis other guy had to keep da crowd from crushing this pregnant lady at da gate leading to the field. Dat was one of the greatest nights of my life, Go Vols!!!

  • hey man, i can't see anything.

  • This brings a tear to my eye.

    GO VOLS

  • Vols beating Gators? You dont see that everyday!

  • @wfish84 Dat was a special year, national champs baby, 13-0 undefeated, my freshman year, 18 years old, we waited outside all night in the cold for tickets to dat game, Go Vols!!!

  • @wfish84 Cause they play once rarely twice a year ;)

  • I was in sixth grade and it was my first ever UT game. One of the greatest moments of. Y life!

  • florida fans: the point is we won this game. what can you do about it. nothing.

  • @LT423 Just beat you six straight times. something.

  • And they gave the 2000 game to Florida.

  • Tell us what is Tennessee's record vs UF and Bama the last 5 years? I will 1-9.

  • @bigreed67 SUCK A BAG OF DICKS. VOL NATION FTW

  • That was the best moment of my life i still remember like it was yesterday

  • One of the only games I have ever been able to see at Neyland stadium was this one! It was friggin' awesome!!

  • GATORS LEAD THE SERIES 20-19 BOO YAAAA

  • tebows gone what can yah do nowbitch

  • put in brantley (not a florida fan)

  • The series originated in 1916. That is the first time the two teams played. The series was tied 19-19 until this years game. Now, obviously Florida leads the series 20-19. Tennessee won the first TEN meetings between the two schools. One thing that hurt the VOLS and let the Gators tie the series up at 19-19 last year and move ahead this year was Phillip Fulmers record vs. Florida. Fulmer is 5-12 vs. Florida in his career. GO VOLS!!

  • @AriesofPitt Phillip has no balls. ha i can't stand him. i wish Lane Kiffin wasn't a douche and left. I think his cocky, smart ass attitude was exactly what we needed at tennessee. Him and his dad were gonna take us to the top.

  • To 226fl and buttpoop 3, which is a stupid name. Did you know, you can't spell fag without the Florida F, Alabama A, and Georgia G? Just thought I'd throw that out there. Go Vols!

  • 226fl. In the past 20 years 14 have gone to Fl and 6 to Tennesse. Just thought i would correct u.

  • Neyland stadium has never been as loud as the moment the ball passed through the uprights.

  • Too bad it won't happen this year. That idiot coach of yours called out the Gators- so the beatdown this year will be awful for you!

  • oh yeah ten points is such a beatdown idiot. and if hes an idiot hes getting more money than any college football coach behind saban. if youre geting 4 milion a year it dont matter if your an idiot.

  • yeah real beat down haha

  • Goddamn. my speakers are loudd lol & holy shit balls ive never been covered with so many chill bumps b/c of a stadium going crazy, IT CRAZY!

  • I dont care anything about the team from Florida so I cound care less about any of there videos. You guys crying about the officials on this one just shows the range of Tennessee football, but hey florida has been pretty competative recently. I wonder if that has anything to do with state and the U being down. Better hope they dont come back around!

  • Interesting to note... a Tennessee recruit on the field that night was a kid from the Jacksonville area named Timmy Tebow on his official visit. He would speak with his dad at a local church in South Knoxville the following Sunday. He was introduced as Timmy.

  • While I could take the time to argue with you. I will simply put at this:

I said it's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

I said it's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

I said it's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

  • What about the "no catch". That was the most embarrassing win for Florida. What a joke!

  • actually the officials admitted the 5 more seconds should have been run off of the clock. however, 6 seconds were left on the clock when the play started, meaning that florida, in fact, was not robbed, but instead given extra time to have a chance at a return on the kickoff. if anything, it helped florida.

  • I have watched this video like 50 times, and every time my heart races and I get goosebumps. I can't wait for football season, it's our year. Go vols baby.

  • I sit in the north endzone right behind the goalposts. the kick was right in front of me. that was the loudest i've ever heard neyland stadium. i still get goosebumps.

  • I work with the Red Cross as medical staff at all Tenn games, and I was standing behind the field goal post during that, it was simply the greatest moment ever. I get chill bumps every time I talk about it.

  • can someone please upload the cbs version of this game's highlights??

  • yeah, I know, I could use some high quality video of this, that's not in the nose bleeds

  • This was my freshman year at UT, and the first game I went to. Been hooked ever since.

  • i get goosebumps every time i watch this kick

  • me to

  • i just did too ha

  • i was so happy when this happend i literally started to tear up.

i was 9 years old watching it in my living rooom with my parents

  • most exciting kick ive ever watched

  • Yes, I remember this very well! I was jumping around my living room like a maniac! I can only imagine what it must have been like to have seen it in person.

  • Definitely the greatest UT experience I've had. I was on the 5th row and brought my Gator friend who was confident enough to drop a grand on the game.

He was sick, I was ecstatic.

  • Watching this still brings joyful feelings to me. I worked in student affairs at UT and was able to get free all access passes to all the home games..but, I wanted to watch the games from the student section. For those of you that don't know, the students double stack the bleachers and don't sit down.

My buddy was with me...first game for him..didn't realize the rivalry at the time. When Wilhoit was lining up, my friend said "don't worry...he'll make it". the rest is history.

  • Other than watching Peyton bring the Colts a Super Bowl ring to Championapolis,...this was my 2nd favorite moment that I have seen live with my own eyes. Had some of the best seats in the house. Sec. V row 39! The field goal was lined up right in front of me! Coach Fulmer should have been able to go on his own terms, but I think Kiffin will lead the Vols back to National prominence again!

  • 2004 was my freshman year at Tennessee and I was in the student section. I don't think I have ever heard Neyland as loud as it was after that field goal. What a great moment to be a Vol!

  • i remember this it is the best vols memory i have

  • Loudest I have ever heard it in Neyland. Everybody was literally just jumping up and down screaming for a about a minute and a half solid. What a great freaking game. AWESOME!

  • It was definitely loud in Neyland that night. Great night to be a Tennessee Vol.

  • This is, without a doubt, my favorite memory of Neyland Stadium. I worked with Wilhoit briefly at Calhoun's and never had the balls to tell him how much that moment meant to me. Missed the PAT and made the 50somethin' yarder. Wow

  • ur lucky the ref messed this game up. btw not nearly as loud as the swamp

  • it cracks me up that these gator fans love to watch videos that has something bad about their team!

  • Yup I agree, bad officiating, the refs tried so hard to get UT to win, and they got it. Lucky that ref doesnt come to the Swamp, he'd get killed lol.

  • im a born and bred sooner fan but tennessee is close to my heart because my family is from memphis, i have to say i have really became a vol and i will never forget when i watched this happen live

  • i was a student at UT during this game and was seated in the lower deck at about the 40 yard line for this. i always cite it as the best game ive ever been to. what made this ending so special was not only that it was against florida, but that wilhoit had just missed a game-tying extra point prior to this chance at redemption. the place absolutely exploded

  • I was there. I have two final fours, one superbowl, UK football and UK basketnall games, and without a doubt.....as a specatator the most amazing thing I have ever seen. When Neyland errupted Wow

  • dangggg keep the camera still!!

    love this!!

  • shut up hoe

    hahahaha :)

  • This was the last win TN had against FL. And as long as Fulmer remains at UT, there will be no wins against the Gators anytime soon.

  • true tht dump his ass!!

  • greatest game at neyland.. Section G row 3 haha

  • I was there-OH MY GOSH !!!! The greatest game I've ever seen. We went crazy the whole weekend. On Monday James Wilholt sat beside me in class and was unbelievably humble. He kept asking what everybody was saying in the stands when he missed the first one. Best game ever!

  • somebody should make a video with highlights from this game.

  • I was outside smoking a cigar to com my nerves down. and i heard a big yell and everyone was yelling spike it. and i rush to see it and when kicked it it thought the satdium was falling!!!!!!!! THE BEST GAME EVER

  • lets hope TN has another W vs UF this yr @ NEYLAND

  • i was on the left side of the uprights when that happened and you couldnt even here anything

  • I was there! i thought my friends were gonna throw me onto the field. Loudest stadium moment ive ever heard.

  • talking about goosebumps. i remember watching this on TV. like a 52 yard field goal. =D

  • I remember that game like it was yesterday. IT WAS AWEWSOME!!!!!!!

  • i have probably watched this video 50 thousand times and i always get the goosebumps. one of the greatest moments in tennessee football history, end of story.

  • I was in row 8 in the student section. My buddy from Indiana came down and it was his first game. After Wilhoit missed the PAT, he said "don't worry....he'll get another shot". He did...and before he kicked it, he turned to all the students (who were silent) and said "he'll make it".

Next thing I know, I'm being pelted by cups, hats, liquor bottles raining from the upper deck. What an unbelievable experience.

  • I was on the 35 yard line, lower deck, below and to the right of this perspective. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. Watch the sideline in this video-between shakes of the camera-and you'll see that the entire Vols team was on the field celebrating. We sat in Neyland for about 20 minutes after the game, catching our breath and trying understand what we saw! Simply amazing!

  • wilhoit redeemed himself right here

  • As A Hogs fan i love to see you guys beat Florida..That day i'm a vols fan...FLORIDA SUCKS!.

  • I was there it was amazing I have never celebrated A win after the game like that night, Cumberland strip was rockin

  • Cal Bears Rule!

Vols r cool tho cuz they have tight band and stadium

  • It's like John Ward said, "NO SIR REE! NO SIR REE! TENNESSEE WINS!"

    Awesome game!

  • awsome night in Neyland stadium

    i fell down

  • i Remember watching the game with my friend. I was shaking and my heart was pounding....it does that always when i am nervous about tennessee. i wish i was there

  • I remember watching this game on tv, It was one of the best games I've ever seen, Tennessee's final drive and all...

  • TENNESSEE ROX MY SOX !! GO BIG ORANGE !!

  • SO I take it Tennesee won? Im not a big sec fan so yeah lol

  • ha yeah they won

  • ahahahhaha and since then...

    exactly;)

    go gators

  • gators suck

  • ill piss on rocky top.....fulmer= big pumkin.....and if it werent for the ref calling that stuped unsportsman like conduct on dallas baker then we would have won if youre a real volunteer then u would know that....but hey three in a row .....go florida gators....

  • a win is a win and Tennessee has 19...florida has 18.

  • ok dude well thats the past... unfourtunatly this year auburn suckkkkks

  • were better than tennessee, not to be mean though.

  • hahaha no, who went to the SEC championships?

  • who got beat 41-17 to the crap team alabama?

  • that didnt really matter considering we went to the SEC championships and everybody has there bad days, auburn had a baaaaaad year

  • i wouldnt consider it really that bad. we could easily be 12-1 right now i think. south florida and miss. state shouldnt have beat us. lsu got lucky cause of a bad spot on one of their 3rd down plays late in the game. the only loss i think we should have is against georgia. they killed us. and we have the same amount of losses as tennessee.

  • ok yeah thats true, but i still think were better... but whatever im not gonna say anything else

  • id like to see auburn and tennessee play. it would be a good game.

  • yeahh it really would

  • wow were is ur guys heisman trophy? o wait u dont have one not even peyton manning who isnt even on the all time sec team.

  • Where is Danny W's Super bowl MVP ring?

  • HELL YEAH!!! GO VOLS SCREW THE FLORIDA GAYTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDD wooooooo!

rocky top you'll always beee home sweet home to meeee goood ol' rocky top, rocky top tennesseeeee!!! :D

  • ok JCT2films dude... your gay

  • you cant call someone gay for tellin the truth! You Idiot

  • and who was it that won the sec championship that year and went undefeated? AUBURN!

  • who cares?!?! GO VOLS!

  • nice national championship that year,,,,,,,,oh wait LOL

  • same to you hahahahahahahahaha

  • that is for sure one of the most exciting tennessee moments ever! i get goosebumps everytime i watch it. go vols!

  • this video gives me chills everytime i watch it! GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't believe how many comments have been made regarding this video. Actually, I guess I can believe it because this was by far my best moment as a student in Neyland Stadium. I am the student who shot this video on my cheap digital camera. The guy in front of me who yells "Get In!" while the ball is in the air is the same guy who said if he saw Wilhoit on campus Monday he would kill him for missing the extra point that would have tied the game.

  • lol wow crazy.....

  • You can't see anything. i have had season tickets for 12 years. and im only 15. i have a lot better seats than that piece of junk.

  • after conferring with the judges it has been determined that using the word espousing is not very nice but instead a little pretentious

  • After further review it was revealed that solomonyanky is engaging in persnickety behavior in regards to the critiquing of my previous post. FYI- FUlmer is on record stating that he hates golfing.

  • he looks like he hates anything that requires movement-point goes to me simply for the use of the word persnickety-if in fact persnickety is a word

  • atleast he played football for a college...thats more than you will ever do.

  • P.S I dont think people use the word espousing enough- very nice

  • that was awesome great moment---too bad the vols are in a severe state of decline and will probably have to start to rebuild thier crumbling program with a new coach next year---- ouch that hurts- wonder what that gigantic stadium is going to sound like with 40,000 people in it -probably some cool echo effects Go-o-o-o-o-o Vols-ols-ols-ols

  • Ummm, the Vols are on top of the Eastern division and are the odds on favorite to go the SEC championship game...what kind of decline is that?

  • well - not long ago the vols were perennial National Title Contenders and serious noisemakers on the national stage an eastern division championship was the lowest of expectations and tennessee was a fixture near the top of the rankings-are any of those things even remotly true in the past oh 3or 4 years? not even close-they lose fulmer it probably gets worse- Florida State, Miami, Nebraska,Penn State,Tennessee sorry the 90's are over--thats D-cline get a parachute

  • Well, if we are in a severe state of decline, I suppose Florida is too, since they just dropped two games in a row and ar near the bottom of the SEC East. Why don't you let the season play out before you start espousing generalities.

  • Florida=defending national champions---Tennessee=defending outback bowl runner-up(not to mention Florida just hung 60 on Tenn.)Florida= young innovative coach---Tennessee=old man soon to be avid golfer--Florida loaded with incredible young(inexperienced)talent---Tennessee=loaded with guys who went to rocky top because they didnt qualify academically for Vandy-- I'm not talking about this year I'm talking about the next 15-20

  • Um not really seeing as how Florida isn't going to the National Championship so they can't defend it.

  • Um yeah goober-defending champions simply means -team that won it last year- jeees having to explain that makes me wonder how you can operate a computer

  • I understand this, but I was talking it into a more litteral sence. Oh, and by the way, you have very bad grammar. Jeese having to tell you that makes me wonder how you can operate a computer.

  • alabama 41-Tennessee 17- now even winning their division seems a lofty goal--sorry-i wont say i told you so

  • yeah i will--i told ya , i told ya, i told ya

  • Then tell me who it was that went to the SEC Championship.

  • the tennessee volunteers are going to the SEC championship- and the way you are responding about it only helps prove my point-be HONEST, 4 or 5 years ago would you be this excited about just the opportunity to play for the SEC championship-4 or 5 years ago the kind of season the Vols have had would be considered a disappointment not something to be excited about-sure sign of decline--sorry

  • When and if, Phil retires this year. Which he won't. Once we get a certian head coach that I am looking forward too, we will go to the National Championship. This coach, dispite his age, is that good. Not that phil isn't, but his style of coaching belongs in the NFL.

  • Simply electrifying!

  • I've watched that vid over 100 times man....LMAO. Gives me the chills everytime I watch it!!!

  • damn i got chills soo bad...makes me teary eyed sometimes..moments like this in the stadium are the greatest, if you dont have one you havnt lived

  • obviouisly 109,000 vs 60,000 isn't a camparison but for me this clip reminds me of being in heinz field for VT's last big east game ever. Pitt scored late and sent out of the conferance with a kick in the ass. when pitt scored that late TD the place was as wild as its ever been for any steelers game.

  • Im 13 live in illinois and ive been a tennessee fan since i was five i just loved that game and was so happy i was screaming like no 2marrow

  • I was literally jumping up and down screaming my head off the neighbors thought me and my dad had gone crazy!! That was great. GO VOLS!!!

  • got chills all over that was an amazing game!!!

    GO VOlS

  • damn I just got chills

  • It's just like a gator fan to watch a UT video and have

something bad to say. No Class!!

  • I was at this game too, and it was awesome. The ENTIRE field was covered in fans after the game. The only other moment that was better for me, 1996 vs. Bama. I screamed until I my voice gave out.

By the way, I've been to Clemson games and there is NO comparison to a game at Neyland. 104,000 to 81,000...you do the math. GO VOLS!!!

  • was it this game or the '98 game you are thinking about? because i don't remember the fans storming the field after this game, they sure did in '98 though, both goalposts came down, and CBS lost both of the cameras they had mounted on them

  • Y
