  • cfm 56 engines are so quite at takeoff then the iae v2500

  • three things that are good about this video....1 you landed on RWY23 2 there is a DHL DC-8 parked there and 3 you went to san francisco

  • They all fly with Boeings though, and other types too.. 747 is really a airbus, but called boeing.. Boeing is a word for a company who makes the planes..

  • Air Canada aircrafts are so noisey compared to Virgin Atlantic & Continental. When I say nosey I mean the engine.

  • Thats because Virgin and Continental only fly Boeing aircraft I'm pretty sur. That may have an effect on the noise level.

  • So does A/C... Which boeing are we talking here anyway, because there are a fair few.. 747

  • Well, I know for sure that Continental's fleet consists of the the a300, which is their only airbus aircraft, and they also have the 737, 757, 747, 767, and 777. They also fly McDonnell md-80 and md-82, and the dc 10, which are also Boeing aircraft. Virgin flies airbus only, my mistake, but much larger models such as a340 a330, a380, etc. They do fly 747 tho. So, to the point here, Virgin may be quieter because they fly larger airbus models which are newer with reduced engine noise.

  • And continental may be quiter because they fly Boeing aircraft. Maybe they're quieter? I have only flown with air canada and oter air canada based canadian airlines such as canjet, air canada jazz, tango, zip, and so on. I always remember boeing aircraft being louder, but ive only flown on 1 boeing aircraft, the 737-200.
