ridley scott and giger were the perfect team at the right time -- scott first got the genius of giger and its applicability to film, and though techniques were not so evolved these days, what they made out of it is still the best of all the series!!

Camerons Aliens was the perfect follow up to Scotts Alien. Im a Brit, but i find it hilarious how Cameron thought the British crew making all the sets (in London) were lazy and always wanting tea breaks!

There is a difference between a bad film and not liking a film, of course you are entitled to your opinion but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with you on that one, personally I prefer ALIENS but it's not the reason for this message, you say there is no mystery, then you must of seen a PG-13 version then. Batman & Robin could your favourite movie, doesn't mean it's a good one! (don't mean to imply it's your favourite, sorry!)
