First of all. WWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHAAAATTTTTTT!!!!!! 2nd I'm gonna sound like a chop but what is that "desk" you are using. is it a controller for abelton? Thank you guys! Peace from south africa!
amazing video! could you please please please make a video on the gear you are using and how you made that sound amazing, live dubstep is something i would love to get into but i dont know where to start, this is the first video i've seen that looks like i can actually afford all the equipment, would be very very helpful
@evansmith2112hey mate, the M9 has all the bass parts and is run throught ableton so we can do live side chaining and run a filter for both drums and bass at once.lfos are controlled by my foot pedals via ableton so timing with click is perfect...one is set on mix and one on rate.the other exp pedals are used to control the M9 which you can assign to anything on any of the sounds,i had a full octave sweep, reverb and a wave change assigned to one pedal and then you can select either
@johnarkell what interface do you use for bass? im new to ableton and dont understand how to assign an expression pedal to lfos, what is your signal chain from bass to ableton?
@johnarkell DAAYYMMM... um.... put some feelers out? i know not by name, i do know theres a gap in the market for heavy, live, 'human' dubstep.... a brass section would win too!

This is awesome! Bravo for taking a live instrumental approach to a genre usually driven by machines and sequencers.
