i was at the 1995 first ave. show they played together, and at the time, lead guitar was not exactly en vogue... but i just stood transfixed by nels cline ripping assholes with his outerspace guitar solos. this totally inspired me to devote myself to the guitar... man what a great show. i remember i made this little pencil drawing of mike watt and stuck it on my wall. cool memories.
" it doesn't have to be tired if you stretch the boundaries "...wow...beautiful quote. i love this. these 2 fellas RULE. the interviewer...props to him, too!

Watt and Cline need to do more together. I want Watt, Cline, and Hurley to do some stuff. Such awesome dudes.
Dave on drums is awesome too. Though Hurley and Bonham are my most influencial drummers.
