This guy is looooooong overdue for retirement. He stopped representing the people about 20 years ago. He even intends to retire on the east coast....hasn't lived in Washington for over 30 years.
Let's grow up and give him his walking papers this November.
Oh there were conservatives there. They were conveniently relegated to the lawn. Meanwhile he stuffed the hall with his supporters. The problem with Dicks (IMO) is that he does not fear for his job. His own supporters outside his private health care forum in Port Angeles have smugly stated that he runs unopposed and wins handily and does not have to listen to us.
Also ask yourself, does the proposed healthcare bill constrain one's life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The Declaration of Independence preamble is clear on this issue.
1st: People should read this proposed bill. There is a pdf of it online.
2nd: Ask yourself as you read through it; does this proposed bill infringe on my liberties in any way?
Compare it to what the Bill of Rights and Constitution says. I find it infringes upon the 10th amendment. It is also contrary to the Philosophy of Liberty. 99% of our elected representatives do not understand this simple philosophy.
