  • Without a doubt, one of the most overrated directors out there.

  • Wow that had an insane amount of spoilers haha

  • Im a huge fan of Devils Backbone and Pans Labyrinth is one of the greatest movies ive ever seen but im afraid i found this movie quite boring.

  • the film is from 1993, not 1992

  • @nemakur yea right .. its 1993

  • do you know who sings this?

  • I saw this movie and I loved it but it is not a horror film it's more drama and dark comedy.

  • I watched this on Netflix today, and the movie had the strangest quality. As if it was filmed at a low FPS, or something. I don't think that was intended... Can anyone shed some light on it?

  • I've seem plenty of Dracula movies, but Cronos and Let the Right One In are my two favorite vampire films. Cronos in particular is fascinating to no end.

  • @thefalloutnutjob

    Wildest Dreams by Iron Maiden

  • What is this song on this trailer?

  • cause of stuff like hellboy and sons of anarchy, Ron Pearlman seems so cool. Looking at him back then he always seemed so f'n sinister. Great actor.

  • @rapist41

What in the hell did you TRY to say?

  • HE'S LIKE THE MEXICAN DAVID CRONEBERG

  • does anybody no what the score of the trailer, it aint iron maiden im sure of that

  • MIREN ES HELLBOY¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • @KingofSomeKingdom hahahaha yeah, lots

of sickos out there, or maybe they're not sickos, just troubled.

    veeeeery troubled.

  • I liked this film - it was sort of like a different take on dracula,

  • I wish a Cronos device would attach itself to me; I would love to be the ultimate fusion of man and mechanism

  • I was high as balls when I saw this, I loved it, love it sober too, so different

  • @GRUGIN1 Me too

  • Ahh como me gusta esta película...!

  • hes like the mexican werner herzog

  • @rapist41 hahaha yeah.

i wish Guellimo del toro would do something as

    profound as Bad leutenent tho.

and what kind of a name is rapist41 ?

  • @zoombie13 OR FITZCARALDO

  • I got the whole movie uploaded here if u want to see it and btw it's from 1993 not 1992.

  • This Film was on Film4 the other Night, didnt like the look of it so i passed and i dont like the look of this trailer so il pass lol...

  • wow

  • the music doesn't match the movie at all

  • The Criterion Collection will release a special edition in december!!! Can't wait

  • Excelente movie,.....!

  • Freakin' typos...sorry everyone....

  • That cronos device creeps me out to no end. I can not watch the film because of it. I'm such a damn baby when it comes to bugs (that aren't computer generated anyway). I can barly watch the Tome Seleck movie "Runaway" because of the mechanical spider-like things that Gene Simmons sends after his victim's in the movie.

  • @vsg1980 you got any more stories like this?

  • @timmytimmyo About movies with gross bugs in them that scare the crap out of me? Yeah there are a couple more. There's a movie called "Creepshow" where this loathsome man in his seemingly sterile apartment gets overrun by cockroaches. There's a scene in "Flash Gordon" where the tree guys are putting there arms into this giant tree stump where a huge scorpion type bug lives (this particular scene scares me and grosses me out to no end, I can not watch it). "Prince of Darkness" is gross too.

  • Im pretty sure it aint iron maiden so does anybody know the name of the tune

  • A brilliant cult classic and one of the best vampire movies ever made. A definite must see!

  • TIM "CLICHE" BURTON, SUCKSASS'

  • @Deckardpr

What about Batman 1989 and Returns, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, and Beetlejuice to Edward Scissorhands? great stuff man.

  • @Deckardpr It's directed by Guillermo del Toro, actually. It was his debut feature I think. It's a damn fine film.

  • @Deckardpr tim burton may have recently directed a bunch of kid friendly

awful movies, but when he wants to, his films are original, beautiful and often terrifying

  • whats the song in this trailer? would be helpful i know its classical or opera but do not know thr name if you know just reply.

  • I saw this about 17 years ago when I was pretty young, I can't remember anything about it except for the weird beetle type thing and that it scared me a bit.I thought it was going to be based on an old Spectrum game I'd had haha!

  • The ending made me cry, so beautiful and sad.

  • good movie actually if u havn't seen it check it out.

  • hellboy :)Ron Perlman

  • Ron Perlman??

  • @s3ac0w Yes mate, you should see this movie it´s a great low budget film!

  • nice

  • That looks good

  • One of the most creative and original movie interpretations of vampire law since Near Dark. A truly wonderful film.

  • Ron Pearlman and Guilerlmo Del Toro seem to be a little like Johnny Depp and Tim Burton.

  • Except that del Toro is a billion times better than Tim Burton.

  • meh. I like them both alot.

  • Let`s not go that way!=)

Both are brilliante in their own right!

  • they both totally different tim burton and guillermo del toro have their own style

those two are my favorite directors :D

  • @MythicDude Ron Perlman took a pay cut to get Cronos(Del Toro's debut) finished. Del Toro said he just always enjoy having the big Jewish guy(Perlman) around. Del Toro fought to get Perlman to be Hellbpoy when the studio wanted The Rock.

  • @MythicDude

    DON'T SAY THAT!!!

  • @MythicDude Yeah, except I'm not getting sick of them. Can't say that for Depp/Burton.

  • @BNCBGreg Yeh I know what you mean lol Burton and Depp have made some great stuff togeather but Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was friggin awful and Alice in Wonderland wasn't that great ethier

  • @MythicDude I refuse to watch anything which uses CGI for the sake of it. I find it distracting and annoying. I also don't watch films which "reimagine" beloved books of my childhood. It's unnecessary and offensive to me in the same way that films which piss on actual history or mythology are too. If they want to use existing stories, they should be faithful to them. I don't watch many films any more.

  • @MythicDude

Well there have been many director/actor duos in cinema, this being one of the best ones so far. Think Kurosawa and Mifune/Shimura, Scorsese and de Niro/Pesci/di Caprio, Herzog and Kinski, Leone and Eastwood, etc. These duos tend to elevate the quality of the films.

  • I saw this movie on dvd with my friends it is scary if you watch it without saying anything, but me and my friends kept making crap jokes about stuff in the film so it wasn't that scary.Anyway, great ilm,I would recommend it.

  • if you know ur greek mythology

cronos was the titan that ate his own kids

because it was predicted that one of them was going to kill him

does this have anything to do wit the movie??

  • Cronos is also the latin word for "time" so there is a slight possibility that it is a reference about time instead of the greek god.

  • actually Chronos is Time in greek and Cronos is the Titan and the planet Saturn if m not mistaken. They may sound the same but hey are not.

  • Looks awesome, I'll check it out for sure.

  • Can anyone identify this song?

  • Another one of the films directed by this guy is Pan's Labyrinth , brilliant film one of my favourites

  • you can recognize the actor who plays hellboy in this movie?, then you are a Del Toro Follower, greetings

  • 0:08 kinda looks like spaghetti :D

  • wow, that beetle does it for me. i just hv to watch it :D

  • this film is really good

    Saludos.
