  • 0:50 btw*

  • AW CRAP prepare to jump into hyperspace on my lawn

  • best space battle ever next to ep. III coruscant

  • Wedge was worthless, but he redeemed himself .... a little.

  • OMG, look at 0:15, you can see 2 rebel transports just DISAPPEAR!

  • Officer:"Sir! we lost our bridge deflector shield." Piett:"By two small A-wings!? How the hell could they destroy our shields! Look how big we our shield generators are, and it gets destroyed by two ants!?" Imperial Commander:"Uh sir." Piett:"I mean, I can understand if one of those Mon Calamari cruiser destroyed it, but two A-wings!? Come on!" Commander:"Admiral." Piett:"Phone Coruscant! Find out who built our tin foil shield generator of ours into this colossal ship!" Commander:"Too late!"

  • @UltraRenegade I get a better question: Why are the shield generators in such exposed areas?

  • How the heck dd they win with all those Star Destroyers and TIE fighters? Has anyone seen those books where it lists how many TIE fighter wings, how many ION cannons, Turbolasers, etc. is on one Star Destroyer? Either all imperial troops are complete idiots with their equipment or they just wanted to get it over with in the movie. Two Star Destroyers should have been able to take on the entire rebel fleet.

  • TOO LATE!!! xD

  • Lando;come on han o buddy dont let me down!

    *explosion of shield generator*

  • LOL, fucking Luke ..

  • TERRORISTS WIN

  • 6:40 DIE DICKHEADS! someone in the background says it!

  • Amiral : Prepare to jump on my mark!

Lando : Ok, stand by! *jump*

    Amiral : ...

  • @Momo5775 lol, and just jumps right behind him without bringing it up...At least as far as we know.

  • This sequence just gets better as time ticks on. Just epic, Special effects, dialogue, music. You just don't make this stuff anymore.

  • they sent in 5 X-Wings, 2 Y-wings, 3 B-wings, 3 A-wings, and a Corellian Freighter against a frickin' Space Station and Fleet of Star Destroyers. Plus an assload of tie interceptors. What the hell Empire?

  • What's up with the sound? Voices sound higher pitched, almost as if the video has been sped up slightly.

  • 1:34 "May the Froce be with yo... I mean with us, actuallly with me, but anyways..."

  • that alien in the big ship looks like ur dick

  • Anyone ever notice that most of the xwings have blue stripes instead of red?

  • INTENSIFY THE FORWARD BATTERIES! I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO GET THROUGH!

  • 6:07-6:50 my favorite part

  • 5:33 fail !!

  • YEEEEEHAAAA!!!!! OLD FILM, BUT AWESOME EFFECTS, AND BATTLE! XDDDDDDD

  • Too Late!!! AUGHHHHHHHH!!! Favorite Part of all time!

  • aww... you left out the part where the debris exterminates the Ewok population...

  • one question: How come no one on the millenium Falcon ever says "what the fuck is that Sullustan guy saying?"

  • 7:52 "yeaa ahaha" pff

  • Lock onto the biggest power source. It should be the power generator.......... They just don't write lines like that these days

  • Why are there two Green Leaders?

  • @537CH There actually aren't, the first guy says he's gray leader, the second is green leader.

  • @RageQuitter87 oh ok, that makes more sense. need subs for this video.

  • ...the good old days before CRAPPY FAKE LOOKING CGI...

  • So what was the Super Star Destroyer over when it crashed? Endor or the Death Star?

  • @TheTexasTornado10

The SSD was cut in half by colliding into the Death star, the front got destroyed along with the Death Star and the back crashed into Endor.

  • The Alien Language at 0:33 is actually Kikuyu, a Bantu language whose speakers are found in central Kenya. what the extra-terrestrial being is saying translated into English is actually 'hey you people back there, come here!'

then the other guy says something about shields o_O

I got lost in that dialogue..

  • Some fun that all us Star Wars nerds have probably noticed but aren't immediately noticed on first viewings:The large Rebel capital ship and the Star Destroyer exchanging volleys at close range, the Star Destroyer in the background getting blown to bits, the green suited pilot saying "Got it!" is a woman overdubbed with a male voice, and the fact that the rickety ol' Falcon is absolute aces in this battle and whoever those gunners were, they were absolutely lights out crack shots in a dog fight.

  • I think I know the tune at 0:15 by heart. It is off pitch in this video, meaning that the entire video is playing on a different pitch than in the movie. But it is my favourite battle in any of the movies anyway!

  • @ Panter Because As soon as the emperor dies, he releases them from his Control mind force effect, the immediate result of which is that efficieny drops below what is normal even without his influence. They become "exhausted". ITs in the books

  • 4:11 the black guy and the asian guy had to go down first

  • @pantherdance1991 That's funny, until I clicked onto 4:11, I thought, by "the black guy and the asian guy", I thought you meant Lando and his assistant alien thing!!!

  • HOW THE FUCK DID THE FUCKING IMPERIAL FLEET LOSE TO THESE GUYS?

  • @pantherdance1991 The rebels had Billy Dee williams on their side.

  • Google subtitles are... well... ><

  • why does the DS go blue before it blows up?

  • @clez2 Camera glitch?

  • @clez2

Cus it looks cooler that way.......

  • i dont get why the super star destroyer blew up in a cheezy fireball, surely it would have just crashed but not destroyed

  • 5:58..does that count as a scratch?? lol

  • 5:58 well there went Han's porn channels.

  • there's..........too many of them

  • I still don't understand how they got the super star destroyer.

By it's technical specifications it would take the combined firepower of the imperial and rebel fleets to bring it's shields down.

  • @LichGeneral According to side material, the rebel cruisers and fighters' focused firepower apparently managed to bring the shields down temporarily on just the bridge, and Green Leader managed to ram his fighter into it before the ship's reserve shields would have presumably come back online. With the command bridge destroyed, the Executor was pulled into the Death Star's gravity well before the secondary command center could regain control.

  • @LichGeneral one thing i lernd the harde way, you never ask movie lodgic XD. been wondering same thing for a long time.. biggest ship in the galaxy. sept death star, and 2 fighers take down the shild in no time

  • All craft pull up!....or sideways, whatever.

  • okey i got skyrim instald.... WHY IM I WATCHING THIS.... o ye... peww peww

  • so did green leader sacrifice himself on purpose by running into the super star destroyer?

  • @gatoradelank

No, he crashed accidentally because he was hit and the ship lost control.

  • @gatoradelank He got hit and suffered critical damage, but managed to steer his fighter into the bridge in a last ditch effort to take the Star Destroyer down with him.

  • IT'S A TRAP !!!

  • love how at the end of the battle the rebals have 3 times the amount of ships tha they started with.

  • 2:11 that is all.

  • Its a TRAP!!

  • Havent seen this movie for a long time. Almost forgot how sick this scene is.

One of the most epic space battles ever.

  • wow mon calamari galatic luxury cruisers became mon clamari battlecruisers

AWESOME SHIELDS AND ARMOUR THICK AS A BEAR

  • this battle is absolute bullshit. There are like 100+ imperial star destroyers. There would also be several thousand tie fighters/interceptors present....george fucking lucas at his best.

  • @daralzand Read the novel and the description on wookiepedia. The Imperial's had around 40-50 SD's 6 Interdictor class cruisers. They also had the Death Star, and the Executor. And thousands of TIE fighters. But the Alliance had more than just two moncal cruisers. it was more like 12-20 plus dozens of escort frigates, corvettes, and gunships. They also had a couple Dreadnaught cruisers, Neutron star class cruisers, and Quasar Fire class cruisers.

  • @daralzand Plus in the novel after the deathstar was destroyed imperals lost all out system holonet communications with the rest of the empire. They also had bad comms between each because of the Death Star fall out. The Alliance pressed their attacks because they new how to fight in less than ideal conditions. Thus after hours of fighting and loss of command and coordination, the Imperials with low moral retreated to Annaj.

  • So, Thinking realistically here, A small rebel taskforce and some little native bears took on the Empires finest batallion and somehow won, meanwhile above a fairly small rebel fleet engaged the Imperial Fleet, with 2 of their Mon calamari cruisers already destroyed by the deathstar, managed to destroy the entire fleet of star destroyers including the executor while ending up with more ships than they had...

  • @AbacusAce My thoery is the Imperial Fleet lost all their morales after the Executor is destroyed, and moments later, the Death Star, and they retreated off screen. As for the small rebel task force+bears vs. the finest Empire battalion. I think that the stromtroopers are trained in mostly urban combat and open area, not jungle warfare and guerrilla attack.

  • Red leader standingby

  • I like this edit. Space battle ships and fighters only !!!!

  • the battle of yavin and the battle of endor are my favorite space battles

  • 0:50 - "Oh crap, prepare to jump into hyperspace on my mark."

  • 3 Largest naval battles in human history. Trafalgar, Midway, and Endor.

  • @Unholyheaven

What about the Battle over Coruscant?

  • @Unholyheaven NAVAL battle? IT'S IN SPACE FOR CHRIST SAKE!!! Though I got to admit, change that to ''battle'', and I agree with you.

  • Proceed with the countdown.

    All groups assume attack co-ordinates.

  • IT'S A TRAP!! classic

  • Sorry, but this is no uncut!

  • 4:10, the only black pilot of episode 6 (Beyond Lando) and he dies after 2 seconds on screen.

  • @haghaghaghaag Lando is da best niggah

  • Its a fap!

  • the empire is stuppid why do their make a hole there is big anough to could throw a bomb though it and destroy the death star in eisode iv and why do their make a hole fighters cane fly into and destroy the power generator? that is surely the biggest mistake of the empire

  • Thank god the falcon dosn't come with a rear view mirror

  • 2:18

  • wtf is happing whit the star destroyer in the back ground at 6:10

  • @daniellisnermeicker exploding?

  • 6:30 yeah it was to late....dumbass lol

  • Comment removed

  • Concentrate all fire on that Super-Star Destoryah!!!

  • Shields still up...wait nvm.....

  • 2:12 best meme ever!!!

  • @SamyLakhdar13 this have more emotion

  • IT'S A TRAP!!!

  • @MrGunnyboddy Also, who's cat? Ugh, someone get your cat.

  • They just killed thousands of people.... and they are happy? Not everyone in the empire was evil, some people saw it as only a job. They just wiped them out. Not to mention the civilian prisoners that were in the prison blocks AND the slaves (mostly wookies) that were building the station. The rebellion were the true evil in the movies. They destroyed a functioning government to replace it with a unstable republic that had already been proven not to work during the clone wars.....

  • Not to mention a new republic made out of teenagers.

  • 5:28 How could they control those ships when they are going so fast? I'd crash and burn if I was in there!

  • @DippersandSmiles Play the last mission of Xwing Alliance and you will understand it.

  • go to 2:11

  • too late!!!!!

  • Sir, we´ve lost our bridge deflector shields !

  • i hope all state insures against rebel attacks

  • I hope that the Empire have insurance.

  • Wedge you bamf.

  • 7:20

    Notice the T/I isn't firing?

Probably shouting in his helmet: "MOVE THAT BUCKET OF JUNK!!!!"

  • 4:58

"(maniacal laugh) I told you they'd do it..."

    "*nervous laugh*"

(according to the translator droid that was Sullustan for "Great, now we fly INTO a nearly finished battle station at full speed while being chased by fighters and try to blow up the reactor without dying in the explosion? That sounds wonderful!")

  • 55 people heeded Ackbar's warning. Good thing too

  • @ProjectParker lol

  • best...space battle...ever!

  • 2:22 thele's too many o' them!

    -Tai fighter

  • What's the name of the music at 1:22

  • the alien next to Lando is there for moral support

  • 6.31 exactly pause and look at the Imperial officer on the left, now that is on interesting jump ^^

  • Come on, Han ol' buddy, don't let meh down!

  • @Statalyzer continuing ''During the mass exodus of Yavin to Hoth, Admiral Griff miscalculated his task force's hyperspace jump, bringing the three Destroyers out on top of the Executor. The angle and shielding was sufficient to protect the Super Star Destroyer, but the other three vessels were annihilated. '' so in conclusion if they wanted to kill it they should do it my means of sabotage otherwise FORGET IT. lol

  • Yes, the executor is not Bismarck, but the Rebels are also not using Swordfish.

  • @Statalyzer as I said again look at the SSD's armaments and deflector systems. even if it stood alone against the whole rebel fleet it could take them down. look at starwars.com in the expanded universe : ''The surface of the Executor was dotted with all sorts of weaponry, bristling with more than 5,000 turbolasers and ion cannons. The Executor carried wings of starfighters and two pre-assembled garrison bases ready for deployment. ''

  • @Angelos1975GR

That thing is a beast, it was just bad luck on their part that the bridge was hit.

  • @mightysalacc Bad luck and poor ship design. You don't put the bridge in such a vulnerable position.

  • @Fbueller129 I am sure they have a back up bridge anyway, so that does not explain why the ship plummets into the death star.

  • @mightysalacc Dramatic effect I would wager. Though I could have thought of a different way to take out the Executor. Death Star targets Home One and in a stunning display of tactical thought, Ackbar has them disengage the safeties on the hyperdrive, does a microjump into hyperspace and the blast takes out the Executor.

  • @Fbueller129 That would of been fantastic, however, what if the imperial fleet contained intradictor (sp?) cruisers. Home one would prepare to make the jump, and fuck all would happen, the last thing Ackbar would hear, "the death star is ready to fire"

  • @mightysalacc I'm showing my extreme geekiness but Interdictors don't prevent Hyperspace. Their gravity generators simulate the mass shadow of a planet which causes the safeties built in to keep a ship from slamming into a planet, star, etc to activate, dropping the ship out of Hyperspace or keeping it from jumping for safety reasons.

  • @Fbueller129 Yes you are, but don't worry it's all good! I was not sure if Intridctors where even around at that time, Thrawn era? But anyway, Home one would still jump, but be yanked out of hyperspace immediately, and be hit by the death star laser.

'' so in conclusion if they wanted to kill it they should do it my means of sabotage otherwise FORGET IT. lol

  • ITS A TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kamikaze!!! at 6:27

  • poor admiral piett and crew xD

  • with all of today's technology; nothing looks as good as this does. AND THIS MOVIE WAS MADE IN 1982!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CplHicksjr it is true, elsewhere I think :"c'est de la contrainte que naît la créativité".

  • The TIE Fighter pilots are so lame. These guys couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo...

  • Thanks for such a perfectly edited fighters battle! Those scenes are my favorite ones in the whole episode... I've really enjoyed watching that!!!

  • Take evasive action! Green group, stick close to Holding Sector OT7!

Admiral! We have enemy ships in Sector 47!

    (o)\ _ /(o)

    IT'S A TRAP!

  • 1.i just allways wonder how little ewoks can turn out stormtroopers by using simple traps and sticks and stones????

    2. executor is killed by a fighter flying in the controll tower??? thats kinda lame

    big logical mistakes there....

  • 1 - Think USA in Vietnam or USSR in Afghanistan.

2- Think Bismarck crippled by a 1920s biplane.

  • @Statalyzer ok i get your point... big parallels there. and likeley it was lucas intention to include them. but in vietnam usa didnt actually fight sticks and stones ;), so i think evoks should have had some better technology or be equiped by the aliance troops or maybe some animals fighting for them etc etc.

  • @Statalyzer the EXECURE IS NOT Bismarck. Bismarck did not have energy deflector shields..... lol .... if you check it's data it's energy deflector shields can absorb head on collision even with a Calamar cruiser. so this seen with the kamikazi A-wing colliding in the bridge is totally but totally wrong. even the whole battle spript is wrong. lol

  • @Angelos1975GR yeh but then star wars would not end in the same way, the emperor would still die, but so would all of the rebels.

  • ITS A TRAP

  • Episodes 10, 11, and 12 are the best

  • Lando should give that guy with the weird head and black eyes some Colt 45 to calm his ass down!

  • Awesome! Simply awesome! Not much else to say.

  • is this specific footage from what, the original or the special edition?

  • Great job!

  • IT'S A TRAP ! lol

  • Millenium falcon rocks

  • YEAH man but I think that less than the half people that watch this video know whats the "Millenium Falcon"...I knew it roday is a magazine lol

  • Episode 6 the best Star Wars movie

  • Kamikaze at 6:28

  • ITS A TRAP

  • @zenburger

You do know that's CGI as well, do you?

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 Actually, that's all practical, physical models. Do your research before making erroneous claims.

  • anyone notice that all the space battles in the new star wars are a steaming pile of digital shit; while this one still rocks

PULL UP! ALL CRAFT PULL UP!

  • Dont be afraid its the chewbacca LOL

  • its the empire's own fault they lost both Death Star. Who puts such a large vulnerability in BOTH stations?

  • Yea, but it was also IG-88's fault if you read the novels, he took control of the deathstar and ignored all of the fighters attacking.

  • Well, you could say that it was all the EMPEROR's fault. He let the rebels to take over the plans of the death star in order to lure them here and finished them. But he didn't expect the outcome would be like this.

  • IT'S A TARP!

  • EEK!

  • Its a TRAP!

  • Cool video
