will the wire stay put in a foam skull? or should it be sealed with say gorilla glue, etc?

Glue would hold it better, but if you made a hook of the wire and slid it around into the foam it would probably stay as well as the plastic skulls. These ghosts "disappear" in strong winds no matter what you do. :)
