i downloaded the skirmish pack but nothing was added on my single player. its still 1/1 on the top. i didn't complete the campaign. do i need to complete the campaign first to unlock it or something? HELpppp

And I have to say, a lot uglier and blander than anything in arma 2. The scenery looks unrealistic, homogeneous and boring, like a huge golf course or something. I guess they had to save texture memory because it came for the consoles as well.

And the other thing is the god awful color filters - yeah make the game look vomit green, that'll help immersion..

@slipcurve I wish that arma had been ported to console, my pc cant run arma 2, which is why i got flashpoint on xbox. but i would have prefered arma by far

I think the required controls and finesse would be too much for a pad. I practically have all of my keyboard and mouse buttons mapped (+ joystick).

arma2 operation arrowhead is lighter on the hardware. I only have E6600 and 275GTX and run it almost maxed out, runs perfect. There has been some engine updates too..

Not saying OFP DR was totally awful, the campaign coop with 4 friends was ok. It's just so short lived and hollow compared to the capabilities of Arma 2.

@slipcurve I agree with what your saying about the controls. on arma 1, using q and e to lean was very useful, on a console, due to the limited number of controls, you cant do that

@slipcurve I love the color filters, it's one of the things I love the most! and the island is somewhat homogeneous, but not as much as you'd think, vegetation varies quite realistically, and so does landscape, of course, they could have added snowy areas and deserts instead to mix it up, I guess it's not a very big game, but it's a lot of fun.

The DPV's are in a town between the Monostry and the Volcano. there are two apcs in a town near the volcano, and two near the town thats is featured in the stomping ground online map. Im sorry i cant name them. do you have an xbox?

unfortunately not, its more for exploration of the island, and vehicles than combat. however the missions that come with it are very good, one is a wave defence, the other is a hill attack.

island tour is a mission where the entire island is open to free roam in. there is a campaign as well. island tour is part of a downloadable content pack.

there arent any objectives so to speak, but key landmarks and locations are showed as objective that dont dissapear. There is the maximum amount of artillery available, JDAMs, mortat strikes, artillery, heavy mortar, small and large missiles. there is 1 black hawk, to little birds, two american attack helicopters, and 2 chinese attack helicopters.

BTW the police helis are called littlebirds and there not Apaches there cobras, the descendant of the Apache. is there anywhere to get a load of guns? and i think i can fly better :P

yeh, i just stole that off a facebook profile. i couldnt be bothered to write it all down. Cobras are AH-1Z's and littble birds are AH-6 when they are the armed kind, and MH-6 when they are transport. i think there are crates placed around. and do you have an xbox? i wouldnt mind taking you up on that challenge :)

in the first dlc, the skirmish map pack, you get free roam day and night, two campaign missions, and two new maps for infiltation and annihaltion. in the overwatch dlc you get 2 new games modes, and new missions

All the following coordinates are based off of the largest squares of the map, which you can see properly if you zoom out all the way while viewing it. First, in H-2 at the Skira Island airport: 1 Black-hawk, 2 small police-style helicopters, 2 Apaches, 2 PLA gunships, 2 BJ2022 Light Utility Vehicles, 2 PLA heavy tanks, and 2 M1A1 Abrams.

In E-9 in a town called Malkovo: 2 Identical APVs. In G/F-13/14 (it's an intersection of two lines) in a town called Aynskoya: 2 different types of inflatables. In B/C-6 along the shore: 2 identical inflatables. In G-21 in a town called Lartskoya: 2 identical jeeps. In 18-M in a town called Zolof: 2 identical dune-buggy looking vehicles. In 30-F in a town called Armudan: 2 different types of APV's- one with a normal turret and another with a dome-shaped turret.
