No matter what I do, the squirrels get everything and destroy everything. They eat through anything but metal, but they've even managed to undo metal hinges and screws! I have a number of different types of feeders for all types of birds and just continue to spend money feeding the squirrels along with the birds...sigh...
Great Idea! Thanks. Those crafty squirrels. Have just started putting out sunflower seeds, and partial heads. Any ideas on how to leave the heads or part of intact and feed? Your comments on the video is just what I have been observing. The resident cardinals have been beautiful to watch. I like to use the heads to observe the many different ways each bird uses to extract from the head and then the shell. Again THANK YOU! Grew the SFs from a few seed the neighbor gave me. 12 10" heads!
LOL!! Sometimes you have to get creative. Squirrels especially will find some way to outwit you most every time. It looks like your approach of separate tables is working. So far... :-)
