  • The arm bar might work on people who don't know what they are doing but against a good ground fighter you won't get it. All you would need to do to get out of this move is to roll backwards and your out and could even end up on top in side control. That's why in the traditional arm bar you put your right let over as well so they can't roll backwards.

  • I learned a different version of the anaconda, where after you roll instead of keep rolling you lock your foot behind their knee and pull that in while pushing their head forward. but it's basically the same thing.

    I notice alot of people bring that up.  When you've been grappling for a little bit, you learn that there really isn't enough space to get a hard groin shot when your ground fighting like this. It's a lot harder to hit someone in the balls and make it felt when your grappling than you think.

  • At the point in the armbar where he is sitting on his face, it is keeping him from turning into the armbar to counter but when he sits back he will easily be able to turn in. The arm is way to high. Im pretty sure the best armbar is where the arm is straight out from his body, that way he can roll into it, not straight up.

  • This arm bar is just as effective, when he lays back his right shin should should be tighter against the body.

  • Unfortunately, you are doing something wrong:) What you need to do is squeeze your knees together, trapping your opponents arm/elbow, so when you apply pressure through raising your hips, it stays put. This will also increase your chance of submitting them. Hope this helps!

  • You are an idiot kung fu doesnt even allow you to be hit in the face tard. Kung Fu doesnt even have grappling moves. It is an old art but how would a stand up art be able to beat a grappling art in grappling lol. Kung Fu has stayed to its original moves but that isnt such a good thing anymore. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has evolved and its stronger because of it kung fu on the other hand cant evolve it forever stays the same.

  • No I never heard of either one of those styles of Kung Fu. I really don't know that much about Kung Fu. The things that I know about it I learned from a friend so it might not be as accurate as I thought. I train in brazilian jiu jitsu so naturally I like my art better than your art. I couldn't convince you mines better and it would be wrong to try. I just don't like people being disrespectful to brazilian jiu jitsu not you but ter11. That is why I commented.
