What do you think, can the thief move zero steps? The instructions say 1 to 3, but in that case you could just go forward and backwards. What do you think?

I think the instructions also say that you can't step on the same square twice in one turn so that means you can't backtrack on the same turn. I was caught doing that (unintentionally) and we had to clear up the issue.

K this is a good review just... tell us how to play; no need to explain the other crap like how there is a fountain and garden on the game board. Otherwise it's pretty good.

My version has 7 pawns (gray, purple, green, red, blue, yellow, white).

Great game, I love both Clue games. I got mine on eBay a few years ago, I forget how much.

Well, yeah, you can often find a lot of boardgames at thrift stores, but 97% of the time, they're terrible games that no one wants in the first place! :-)
