Good that you loaded up that one. The first soloist is Jaymi bandtock, that's right. The second soloist (blonde hair) is Gareth Lowman and the third & last soloist is Matthew Arthey.
to kdc2521.....about the mexican kid do u think that mexican people cant sing?or have you thought about him not being mexican?........i just hate people like that!!!!!!

I keep thinking that their robes are a high risk for catching fire on those candles... Then I think about the 1983 Police video 'Wrapped around you Finger" and the spilling wax everywhere... burning their bare feet something aweful... and what's with the Mexican kid on 1:21?
@kdc2521 I keep thinking why isn't there an IQ test on youtube to stop haters like you... Anyway, don't be racist, even if the kid is Mexican or not he can surely sing better than you in 50 lifetimes...
@Montzie0012 Blah, blah, blah blah blah... I didn't know this was going to turn into an episode of Dr Phil. Thank God for people like you with your swift sword of righteousness. Too bad you're almost a year late. We had this discussion already... Light YOUR candles 'round the world Mrs Righteous.
they do have great vocal skills, youre right, but think about what they wear, how they act. they do have great voices but their parents must push them so far, id hate to be them.

because its true, their parents must have babied them ever since they were little boys. they have butlers and maids and are little brats who were never refused anything. they have great voices but there are plenty of singers who arent little rich kids.
In point of fact this choir originally known as Angel Voices, later as Libera were formed from the boys of the choir of St. Philips a parish is South London that was not all that prosperous. It is obvious from earlier videos judging by the teeth that some of the boys were not that well nourished in infancy. These are not rich pampered kids but local lads who joined the choir of the local church. As a kid I was in such a choir in North London but from a richer section of the city.
This song although recorded here in 1987 was put on the 'B' side of 'Sing Forever' released in 1988 for BBC's 'Children in Need'. A money raising event for children. The record charted in the UK in Nov/Dec 1988.
This video is my footage from BBC SoP in July 1987. Their first appearance as St. Philip's Choir on TV. Yes in barefeet!
Actually this is so old that they weren't called Angel Voices.. This was still St. Philip's Boys Choir.. They weren't named Angel Voices untill the 90's.. and this is - as far as I know - from SoP 1987
Really great, it's the beginning of something really wonderful! LIBERA!!

HI - I am Luke, 13 yrs old, from UK.
I have just uploaded a clip of ME SINGING "Tears in Heaven" - like the choirboys.
It's in memory of my little cousin, who was born asleep last month.
I'd love it if people had a listen to my song and ** SUBSCRIBE ** and Thumbs Up if you like it please as I will be adding several more very soon.
Thanks
Luke ;-)

These boys have varied backgrounds. Most are just average boys who love to sing. Not privileged or rich.

They wear white shorts otherwise coloured shorts or clothing would show up under the robes with the lighting.
