LMAO I'm a Kennel assistant and we hav a tech like this at the clinic. Every time I hold for her she says i'm doing it wrong and then stabs the dog 5 or 6 times to get a blood draw and still can't get it because shes not even poking the right spot!

I have never run into techs like this, but it seems to be VERY common with the upper level vet students I have dealt with.

OMG i knew one tech like this, no one would fire her. finally she left on her own cause the rest of us VT refused to work with her.

I have seen techs like this esp. CVT's. I also agree kennel staff is precious and usually underappreciated but not by me.

Oh man... Never met a vet tech that does that. Especially an RVT since they don't wish to loose the liscense.

@pixiehumor So true. Thank God I got promoted to tech a few years back. I started in the kennels in 2002, and it took years to get out of that hellhole. The kennel assistants keep the place running, and they're always unappreciated and abused.
