  • THIS should have been Skyrim

  • @GivenGoodAngel sorry, my iPad spazzed out. That scene takes place after the coronation scene, but it was cut from the final movie.

  • @GivenGoodAngel that sca

  • where does 2:03 come from?

I never saw that in the movie

  • Such a worthy adaption of one of the best books of all time, also from one of the best book series of all time

  • @Crazysoulrecords PIECE OF LOW LIFE SHIT

  • HEY! This movie was chreated by the same man who was friends with J.R.R. Tolken. So this movie is not stupid.

  • @Crazysoulrecords dued shut the fuck up

  • @Crazysoulrecords fuck you

  • My missus caught me in the wardrobe the other day.

She said " What are you doing in there? "

    I replied " Narnia business"

  • Can someone explain to me why the Professor seemed to me as if he.. knew more than one might suggest? Is this because he DOES know.. or just because he is a person of easy trust?

  • @Frankyfinch24 He's actually been to Narnia...as revealed in the end credits when Lucy tries to return to Narnia, he tells her that she can't go back because she isn't needed yet (until Prince Caspian). The professor is also the main protagonist in the first book of the series The Wizard's Nephew, though he is much younger, when he first journeyed to Narnia.

  • @persianking44 It's The Magician's Nephew, not Wizard's Nephew.

  • @persianking44 i dont get it i have this book and it says that its the first book in the narnia series :(

  • @firepaw5678 Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe is the first book, but when listed in chronological order, its the second book.

  • this one is so much better than the others

  • Wow!

    "Asla, we need your help."

"I know but understand, the future of Narnia rest on your COURAGE."

  • This isn't my favorite one really, but I like the VOTDT much better, and I Prince Caspian is a great movie but it was confusing for my friends-who hadnt read the books. I tried to explain to them but it was confusing to them

  • I never understood why they didn't start with the first book and make 7 movies, instead of skippping. Drives me crazy. LOL

  • @Kaybug0110

I thought at first, the movie makers were following Lewis' order (the order of when the books were published, not the chronological order) but if they are really making Magician's Nephew instead of Silver Chair, I don't know what order they're having. :) But anyway, at least they were able to capture most of the magic (if not all of it) :)

  • @Kaybug0110 because the magicians nephew was more like a prequel to the story, they could do it after the finish the series

  • @Kaybug0110 I think it's because they wanted to make movies with Pevensies only, like when they skipped the third book, no one would understand the connection between the second and third one if they haven't read the books!

  • 7 dislikes...that's what I thought lol

  • this is my english book for class we're reading thas why i looked this up x)

  • i wish the third movie was as great as this one :(

  • @xorachannexo Me too and more like the book.

  • 2:03 WHO IS SHE?!!!

  • @QueenSlifer some blonde bitch lmfao

  • thumps up if you know why the wardrobe is magic!!! :D

  • @mariab0609 why is it magic, idk

  • @doinme1219 if you'll read the 1st book, you'll understand it's a kinda (not long but) in the middle story

  • @mariab0609 i just wanna know cuz am so impatient

  • this is a movie suitable for all! and is fun to watch as well as easy to understand, relate to and love!

the books are truly coming back to life!

  • I have all 7 books :D

  • anyone know the name of the song/artist(s) starting at 1:33-2:06.thanks

  • @Cheddaking It's X-Ray Dog. The song is called Here Comes the King. :)

  • tsk i am so sick of christain aggendas getting into films and books of fantasy.......shame really coz lewis had that way about him ...to use bible referances in his work

  • Brilliant movie!! Especially when Aslam defeats the white witch!! Go good guys!!!

At the end they go back in the wardrobe and are young again

  • I Love this Movie.. I love this book its my favourtie. I saw the movie first then i read the book. they are alot similar i was shock how there so much alike. this is still one of my favourite ,Movies. C.S Lewis is a genius. I ove his way of spreading Christ to Non-Belivers . I can't wait for the 4th movie ..if they make one

  • @bradpaisleyfan1245 From what I heard, the 4th movie is going to be The Magician's Nephew, which seems kind of odd to me because Lewis didn't write that one after VDT, he wrote the Silver Chair. Idk what the director is thinking but whatever he's thinking, I hope they'll do all 7 movies for once :)

  • CANT WAIT TILL MAGICIANS NEPHEW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • best of all three films is still the first!

  • jesus has nothing on aslan.

  • @bofeckingjangles A Christian author like Lewis will disagree with you.

  • I read the book and saw the movie they rock!!!!!!

  • Adults? Like my parents huh? Never mind - I can't do anything about this and that.

  • six people got lost in the wardrobe

  • @cki765 huh???

  • they showed alot of susam and peter but i hardly saw edmund and i didnt even see lucy at all, and isnt she the main character :(

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE (AND BOOK!!!!)

  • Van helsing music xD

  • At the 1:22 mark "Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Is Lord!"" TO THE GLORY OF GOD

  • @2blessed847 Amen!!!!!=) Can't wait to see you in Heaven when we bow together to the Great and Majestic Lion of Judah........JESUS CHRIST!!!! =)

  • Can somone tell me the music name to this video starting at 1:34. I'm very much interested. Thanx

  • @artcast1978 I do not know myself, but check with a website such as wikipedia that would tell you what music they played for the film (in the Music section)

  • at 1:34 what is the music playing?

  • @DreamWolf02 nevermind i found it

  • This movie was SO fucking bad lol The kids were terrible, the violence was unconvincing and the message was so heavy handed. I saw this with my evangelical cousins (who i love dearly) walked out amazed at how bad it was. The only people in the group who liked it were the devout christians, coincedence? No.

So I reccomend this if you want a Lion who is Jesus to sycophantically reinforce what your reverend tells you. If youre looking for a good fantasy film try Lord of the Rings.

  • @ACDC392333 I have say u r rite wen u say that Lord of the Rings is an awsome movie, I watch it like every month! But u r not rite when u say the movie is bad, it is actually rlly good. C.S. Lewis had the gift 2 explain the gospel in story form which is not very easy 2 do. Yes Christians love this movie, but it's for a good reason. C.S. Lewis was and probably always will be the most remembered and greatest author EVER. Not because he got his book published, cuz he did it 2 the glory of God.

  • @jesussavedme789 Well you basically prove my point. What people who like the film like about it is that it is a christian allegory and preaches the values of god. There's no issue with that if thats what you want, I don't disparge people's beliefs, and I myself study religion. But that shouldn't be why a FILM is good on a cinematic level. It should have good acting and pathos and should contain at least a hint of subtlety. On top of that the production design was completely derivative of LOTR.

  • @ACDC392333 Well then tell me why you are looking at the trailer huh? The movie is what it is, you can't change that, whether it's Christian or not. So why don't you use this, "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all." I don't mean that in a mean way, I'm just saying let the people who like the movie enjoy it WITHOUT all you swearing. I love you and Jesus loves you too, God bless.

  • @jesussavedme789 Well I just felt like watching it whilst parousing the web. I do apologize for swearing, Ive been trying to do it less, but even so I fundamentally disagree with the "dont say not nice things" simply because that goes against lending a critical eye to art. And I feel that a negative opinion is just as valid as a positive one and can provide room for interesting discussion of the topic, and why one person liked and element that another didnt. For instance the constant allegorical

  • @jesussavedme789 (cont...) content bugs me because I feel like the film focused more on the religious message than actually developing its characters and plot, but it seems to be why you like it because it speaks to your beliefs. I find that a very interesting dichotomy.

  • @ACDC392333 Ok, I forgive you for swearing, and I'm sorry for saying what I did. As for not focusing on the characters and the plot, have you read the book? They made the movie almost exactly like it! C.S. Lewis was a Christian author, not a secular one. He mean't for it to be focused on the Christian message. Now J.R.R. Tolkien was Christian too and he and C.S. Lewis were good friends. Of course the gospel message is clearer in this movie than in LOTR, but it is still really good. God bless u.

  • @jesussavedme789 I loved the books growing up, perhaps I should revisit them. I probably don't reread them because sometimes something is better in memory and when you read or see it again it loses some luster...

I should thank you for being respectful in this discussion. Too many times people on the internet resort to ad hominem arguments and nonsense instead of actually being intelligent.

  • @ACDC392333 Thank you, you were very respectful also and had very good points. I am also rereading the books now in honor of C.S. Lewis's death on November 22, and birthday on November 29. =) I hope you now see what C.S. Lewis really wanted his readers to see in his books and hope you love them now also. Just to ask, did you like Prince Caspian or just felt the same way about it like you did this movie? Just wondering. God bless you. <3 =)

  • @jesussavedme789 I actually never bothered to see Prince Caspian due to my dissapointment with the first one. However its not out of the question if its on TV that Id watch it.

  • @ACDC392333 Well you should, you would probably like it, it is NOTHING like the book at all.......I was dissapointed. But....it was still a good movie. The producer added a little extra drama(if you know what I mean) to the movie but that might be all. Well, God bless and Happy Thanksgiving! =)

  • when was 2:03 ?

  • do you know the name of the song that start at 1'34"? please!!!

  • For me chronicles of narnia and harry potter are my favourite novels and movies...now i am waiting for the third one of chronicles of narnia.....can't wait..

  • What is the 2 songs that plays at the end when we see the credit?

  • @ClemeRo11 X Ray Dog - Here Comes The King

  • @fantasygurl101 I agree with you.

I love this movie.... the trailer is so cool.

  • Wow. This trailer is pretty epic.

  • wholeheartedly fantsastic and enjoyable movie

  • watching this still gives me chills

  • i know the artist is call immediate music. i got it off limewire.

  • thank u!

  • does anyone know the score for the trailer to this music?

  • @Yenny2089 here comes the king

  • A Truly Moving Picture,I Enjoyed Watching This Movie At BigOnlineMovies . c o m

  • i read this book when i was 12 and i loved it, now i´m 22 and when i saw the movie i loved too (the soundtrack is perfect) , even my sister (she is29) likes the movie.

I didnt like the prince caspain so much but is good too, especially Ben Barnes.

    i´m waiting the third movie.

Greetings from Chile, sorry for my english.

  • Duck and shenamaeborja07 are idiots. By the way, this movie wasnt made just for kids.

  • hey this was a great movie it's a LORD OF THE RINGS for kids and families I liked other and many others as well your entitled to your opinion though

  • in the trailer,

"two sons of Adam, and Two daughters of eve" ....... pretty clear reference to christianity/ the bible no matter how you look at it.

I dont believe the story needs to be read in relation to christianity, one doesnt even have to consider the parallels of the two books, (both fiction in my beliefs), however you cant simply ignore the similarities between them when debating it

  • adam and eve are in the old testament and the iold testament is the jewish holy book too besides they actually diont do anything religious in there anyway its just cuz everyone knows adam and eve

  • @RuuYaa96 they did nothing religious in the old testament? um... creation ? thats pretty fundamentally religious. adam and eve..... fundamentally religious....

This movie also has a strong sense of the easter story of jesus with a character dying to save the lives of others..... another, highly irrational idea similar to a religious story....

  • I don't see how this movie relates to christianity. It's one of my favorite movies even though I'm not one. It's awesome can't wait for the next one.

  • I LOVE this movie!

  • I can still remeber when the first part of this trailer was on on show in the UK. It doesn't seen nearly 4 years ago!! :)

  • Anybody know the name of the song at the very end of the trailer?

  • X Ray Dog - Here Comes The King.

The trailer uses a cut up rendition of that song so it would fit the visuals, but that's the name of the song.

Also make sure you get ALL the versions of that song by X Ray Dog.

  • The best magical feeling in my life!

  • I remember when I FIRST saw this trailer. I was STOKED!...Then of course it ended with Coming out December---6mos away"! (So cruel) The song when theyre on the train gave me the goosebumps and still does. Above all else--Aslan drew me in. Gentle hearted, good natured, noble and not to mention cuddly. How can ya lose? :)

  • Even after almost 4 years since this trailer was released, I'm still extremely effing amazed at how awesome it is! >:'D

  • you know.. the books of the chronicles of Narnia for me... are better that the harry potter's and Twilight's books, maybe it's because C.S. Lewis explains so better how is Narnia that J.K. Rowling Hogwarts or Stephanie Meyer Forks, my favorite movie of all time its this one and I Think that everybody can see it! children, adolecents, and adults!

    5/5 for The Rated

  • Hear hear! I thought so too.

  • @ScarlettRoberts I disagree ever so slightly. I think J.K Rowling described and thought out her series beautifully. I love narnia and Have loved it all my life but don't bash Harry Potter. It's just as good in my view.

  • the rhino is the best

  • well C.S lewis IS one of the greatest christian authors of all time so if youre not looking for anything christian you probably shouldnt have seen it :)

  • christian? you think so? who have actually done research on the movie, its origin,characters,c.s. lewis? this is nothing more than an occult film and if you research you would have no choice but to find this movie is nothing more than satan appearing as an angel of light!!! im speaking of the false perception thats given to the public!

  • Hey! what are you talking about?! I've actually done the research and in fact, C. S. Lewis is an official christian writer. He wrote several other adult books about christianity!!!! and how about checking it out first, and taking a look on the fruits it had made, or the people who had been touched and who turned to God due to the fact that she was inspired by the film!!!(like me)...

  • He wanted everybody to know that c.s. lewis wanted everybody to know the joy of being with Jesus and that it's not boring, and that it's like an adventure!!! hristianity is not about being a "Jesus freak"!(as other people say) it's about enjoying every bit of christianity and not just doing it for the sake of going to heaven!!!!! grrrrr

  • Enjoying Christianity? Jesus( as you ignorantly call the savior) Didnt come to teach christianity,But to save his people!

  • But it's all about enjoying Christianity. What's wrong with you? He did come to save His people. If you're not supposed to enjoy Christianity, then i think you must be living a miserable life!True people of God goes to church not because they have to! It's because they want too! It's because we actually love Him, and because we enjoy what were doing.

  • OMG!!! Show were in the scriptures the Most high said "enjoy CHRISTIANITY"?

He came to save our souls! NOT for us to be Religious!! And do you know what the most high says about "CHURCH"? And when did the most high Come to entertain you?

See you people think its about gaining, comfort, and some kinda peace triangle but you know not what you speak!!! Nor what you believe!

  • what is wrong with you?

you ask who have actually done the research on the movie, origin, c.s.lewis?

and i told you! i have done it.

now if you don't believe that c.s.lewis was a christian then you've got enough enemies dude.

because c.s.lewis was an intelectual giant of his time and many christian people are rooting for him.

  • What is wrong with you? And my point was, that you cant declare someone a christian just by word of mouth! Who are blaspheming scriptures and writing misleading movies that would advertise witchcraft and all other types of abominations!!

And thats the issue with you "christians"!! You have no idea what the "christianity" is, But like everything else you use it to try and justify your wickedness by convoluting it to your convenience. Just like Alexander 4th!

  • Now what scripture in the bible says christianity is: entertainment, prosperity, world love, for appeasement or any of that other BS you "Christians spew out?

LOL its always funny listening to the disillusioned perception of the bible that you SO CALLED "christians" have.

Now the fact that we understand you have a confused understanding of the bible, how could your views on C.S. Lewis be credible seeing that you are blind to actual truth?

  • I get your point.

you think it's like harry potter.

at first glance on the movie, I thought you were right too.

But could you please try to check if out first?

If you can't, or won't, then i must just accept it.

    I'm glad that you're a christian anyway.

gees. there are so many enemies in this world to take care of, and it just won't do to fight another christian.

    i give up.

if I'm blinded, could you kindly explain to me the actual truth?

  • The actual truth is, That the idea that christianity is this all loving prosperity belief when thats a device that Satan uses to keep us from the truth and blinded at the same time. So point is WE CANT BE DOUBLE AGENTS!! Mat 6:24,Luk 16:13

  • *sigh*

my humble apologies for the rudeness.

    ...

    there's just this...

I don't know what your fuss is all about.

It's just a story with talking animals, adventures of prince and princesses on it. If you're saying it's kinda wrong (or really wrong), then you might as well say that all those stories with talking animals and princesses of almost the same sort is also promoting witchcraft and wizardry of some sort, like Cinderella, and other books about fantasies written for children.

  • *sigh* The word is SUPERFICIAL!,and its imperative that we not let it apply. Every movie containing witchcraft and wizardry is against the most high! 2Ch 33:6. Are you aware that as a christian you are in a spiritual war?

  • It appears that you have failed to convince me, as I, to you.

I pray that the Lord may enlighten us both if ever we were the once wrong.

And though your attitude to my replies are hateful,

I wish that you respect my belief because I'm trying my hardest to accept yours.

I hope we could be great friend someday.

    .....

    .....

  • Hateful? i guess you would be more inclined to my words if i spoke of prosperity and peace? Isa 30:9-12. Now on everything i say, i will give you scriptures to support what im saying, then i wanna hear you tell the scriptures they failed to convince you also!

  • it may appear yo you that i am just another fool. I acted on my impulse and tried to defend what i believe in.

you conclude that I am just pretending to be a christian, and yes, it is a possibility that i am just pretending.

But this pretending person will try her best to understand the Lord's words. I will keep trying and praying till i breathe my last. I thank you for your words. I then must try to improve myself.

    Godbless you...

    ps. I'm still a narnia-fan.

  • Go right ahead and continue to be a "Narnia fan" LMAO!! Wow you confirm prophesy and are not even aware!!! ROTFL!!!! 2Cr 11:14,Pro 3:5 Your own understanding will lead to destruction.

  • Jesus said "beware of false prophets. you shall know them by their fruits".

many christians have already concluded that it was good. rick warren even mentioned narnia in his bestselling book.

it's so rude of you to say that c.s.lewis was just pretending to be a christian when you don't even know the whole story. Jesus said that one should not judge. now if you claim that you are not judging, I can't really believe your words then.

  • Whoa!! Lmao!! I dont fault you anymore for how nieve you are to the scriptures and identifying prophets by their "fruits".

Tts 1:16 proves not everyone that professes christianity are of the most high.

Now its not a coincidence that the most high brought me into wisdom about Rick Warren that i may have been given that info about 7 hrs ago to share, do you mind if i share it with you in a PM because its alot of info.

  • Deu 25:1 If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that [the judges] MAY JUDGE them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked. Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and SHEW my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Where in the scriptures did the most high say not to Judge when its just?

  • Are you referring to John 8:7? If you are that didnt mean Not to condemn unrighteousness! he also told her to Sin no more so basically he spared her!

He didnt instruct the men to permanently excuse all transgressions because all humans are sinners.

And talking about Rick warrens Abomination book, someone brought me the purpose driven life in 07' when i was goin through a crisis, and its not by chance that you would bring him up right now! LOL you better learn to understand

  • the most high's language(meaning how he operates) and stop being contentious because what i say doesnt coincide which what and who you wanna believe. Remember lady, I dont know you, so for me to take the time to break it down should be worth at least some research dont you think?

But i won t force it on you because the most high said if any man be ignorant let him be. 1Cr 14:37-38.

  • and I think he is trying to say the same thing to me.

there you are again. why do you keep on doing that?

rick warren's book wasn't abbominable at all.

what part of it was abominable then??

you still didn't answer my question? what part of the book was actually a witchcraft?

  • You didnt ask that question at first. But since you asked, the whole idea and plot is based on witchcraft and sorcery.

Now before i explain whats going on, let me ask you a question to determine wether or not it would be vain to give you some of the wisdom i have obtained by the grace of the most high.

What do you know about Rick Warren, and whom he is affiliated with?

And what do you know about his teachings and who they derived from?

  • fine. i'll try to listen to you. now can you stopp being rude and explain clearly???

  • @TroiElleNicoLe what do you have to be christian to enjoy it im asking

  • @beastpwnr because the entire point of the story is to reinforce Christian values and preach the word of god.

  • @TroiElleNicoLe

one thing that is great about Narnia that it is a Christian novel but you dont have to be a Christian to love it.

  • This movie wreaks of Christian fiction, fantasy and faith. They try so hard to keep the messiah story running because it's so played out.

  • uhm 2:02 who is my boyfriend dancing with? NOT COOL. :|

  • lol

  • so far, this story was the best of all narnia chronicles

  • this was the best movie i've seen in 2005. this inspired me to love fantasy and fiction movies

  • I was wondering about 2:04.....that dancing scene, was that deleted or something?

  • Yeah, I was thinking about it too. I don't remember it :S

  • Hey, does anyone remember 2:02 in the movie :s I just noticed it and I'm not sure was it in the movie or not. I think they deleted it. Pity :)

  • I do, moment when wolfs are chasing them ect.

  • why this music is not in the official soundtrack?

  • It might be music that wasn't actually in the movie. Trailers often use music from other films, especially if the music is already familiar to audiences. For example, after 'Gladiator' came out, a bunch of trailers had Gladiator music. I guess the idea is that the trailer should convey the mood of the film, whether or not the music & clips are actually in the final cut.

  • Because it's from x-ray dog :]

  • i loooooove this movie..and its so much better than prince caspian...but the best book of narnia i think the magigians nephew..i wish they made a filme of it

  • They probably will but right now they're filming in an order so that they can have the original 4 kids. But yes, I agree, I would love to see Magician's Nephew, and also Horse and His Boy.

  • how can i download this video ?? plzz someone tell me

  • You know, even if I hadn't read the books before, I still would have been interested in watching this movie.

  • Liam N. is so awesome as Aslan :)

    Love this~thankx for posting!

  • this is my favourite movie of all time!!!.

I've read all the books and I can't get enough of it, it's just a fantastic story.

    C.S Lewis was a genious.

  • C.S Lewis is a genious.

  • you know I watched NARNIA a hundred time and

it was so cool and I have the game with me

right know and it`s for xbox.well I got to

    go se ya later

  • what is the song in this trailer? i love it O.o

    great film.

  • I love the epic-ness of the music, lol.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE

  • i never seen this :'( ~Lucian~

  • well you will on thursday ~~colin~~

  • the white witch is not done with narnia yet she comes back in the chronicles of narnia the magiciens nephew

  • Actually, she doesn't "come back" in The Magician's Nephew. The Magician's Nephew is set at the very beginning of Narnia, so hundreds and probably thousands of years before LLW. And in England, the book is set quite some several years before WWII.

  • thanks, melsy187! my brothers aslan in our play of narnia! it's awesome! and i'm a squerril! i wanted lucy. but........i didn't even get a callback! :( :( :( :(

  • i loved the books when i was younger and the movie was really good to

  • I love the signification of the film:)

  • I just saw this movie. In my opinion the movie is great. I almost cried when Aslan died (didn't know he would return and Susan (Anna) is pretty hot. But hey, i loved it and now i want to see Prince Caspian too!

  • hi anyone want to chat

    comment me back WX

  • who was the girl peter was dancing with in 2:03?

  • yes i have no idea who Peter was dancing with too i was wondering why it was not in the movie, or was it? please enlighten me

  • I like this movie a lot more than "Prince Caspian" mostly because there's less action and drama. And because of Tilda Swinton as the White Witch, I though she did an amazing job portraying her! And I think she should have won her Oscar for Supporting Actress for this film instead of "Micheal Clayton", but that's just my opinion.
