  • why are those assholes touching the bar.

  • Wow, that is one retarded good morning going on in that clip. Love how the chest totally caves in on the way up, and the posterior chain just breaks form.

Please don't tell me people think that it's an actual squat. Take that to a meet, and you'll get a "no lift" every time.

  • @Jaymon1203213 What the fuck are you talking about. His form is fine. Full range of motion. Not only that he is maxing out which is why he lifts his butt up first and it isnt even that bad. It is an assistance exercise to their snatch and clean and jerk so don't bring gay powerlifters into this.

/watch?v=_O284uWubiY This guy's form was worse yet he still gets it

  • @Jaymon1203213 your comment is completely unfounded, in a powerlifting meet all that the judge is looking for is depth in the squat, not if the squat looks cool enough as you seem to think is the case. Secondly his chest hasn't caved in he is pushing his hips back to utilize his posterior chain more. This is a squat by any definition of the word! Maybe you try a squat before you comment on how it should be done, you fucking retard.

  • Olympic lifters are just monster squatters...Fuck all the "1,200" Lb squats with a sumo stance, 2 mile long knee wraps, and suit to help the lift! These people go to amazingly deep with heavy ass weight. No illusion here. Depth Before Dishonor.

  • POWER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sick squatting. His spotters have no idea what they're doing... not that he needs them.

  • @thepapasmurf2

They aint spotting him, they're making sure the plates don't fall off.

  • Considering that, for many lifters, riding the bounce up is essential to the receipt and recovery of the Clean, I see no issue with training one's squats that way. The reality is that bodybuilders, powerlifters, and weightlifters all squat differently, for different reasons. There's no "best" way to squat because there's no single purpose for training the squat. All that matters is that technique choices are intelligently applied to the goals of training.

  • He mainly used his lower back to squat, not his quadriceps, it`s dangerous for normal people. I tried this before, it hurts. Proper squat is to arch your back as much as possible which can prevent from hurting ur lower back

  • @athleticchak

    LOL

  • sorry bro, bounce squat. i could hit 400 on that....

not being big headed, go down slow, then power up with no bounce. much more brutal on the quads.

  • @maddude16

Show us your 400 in a video. We are talking about kilos.

This is a world class weightlifter and he knows how to squat i think.

310 kg x 2 @at 94 kg class without suit is beastly strong.

  • @maddude16 youtube brings out the worst in people, ignorance is a disease and you're carrying it...

  • @maddude16

highly doubt ya could. but i won't argue what's unknown.

    1. he did bring it down fairly controlled. didn't have a huge bounce that would help all that much

    2. even if he did use the bounce, he's an Olympic lifter. "practice how you play" applies.

    3. film yourself squatting 400k for 2. hell...film yourself doing 1 'controlled' squat at 200k and i'd stop talking

  • @maddude16

dude, he's an olympic weightlifter, they ''need'' a bounce in the bottom position for cleans.

  • @maddude16 so you could squat 880lbs raw with a bounce? wow you must hold some kind of records. perhaps you can get into lifting and challenge the world class lifters that you criticize. secondly, as already stated a bounce mimics the bottom of the clean. get your head on straight before you spew bullshit on subjects you're clueless about

  • @maddude16 Read a little about the stretch / shortening cycle, biomechanists (who develop safer and cleaner techniques in athletes) consider it a fundamental law of performance and this is a prime example of where it applies.

  • @maddude16

    good job being a noob

  • @maddude16 And the knees. You sound like an idiot bodybuilder that squats 135 and calls it a day.

  • now those are some REAL squats, deep and good, not some body builder bullshit! Strong man indeed

  • what an ANIMAL!

  • Nice and deep. What a hero

  • this dude is a BEAST

  • no way man hes way good on depth... awesome

  • these were shallow

  • @thugmelvin

shallow? how hams were touching his calves...you can't get much deeper than that!

  • @thugmelvin My wife said I'm shallow.

  • @thugmelvin your mental capacity is shallow

  • vids of your squat?

  • olympic weightlifters is stronger, flexible and more atheltic than powerlifters that uses 1000 aderresses to squat 1200 pounds 1/3 squat, i respect them, powerlifters are a very strong people the recordists can support more than1200 pounds in the trapezius.

HEY! LEONID TARANENKO CAN SQUAT 380 kg for two reps with two seconds pause at the bottom, atg and raw ;)

  • y sin cinturon haceel cojudo

  • fucking ALPHA!

  • best squat video on youtube! 2 sets - wow!

  • "yeah, I was doing such a great workout, but then, you know what? I ran out of space on the bar, so I had to settle for two doubles at 310kg.... sucks, though"

  • yeh i totally have that problem....nat!

  • Impresionante....!!!!
