My theory is that lucas's wish from the beggining and so was clauses was just to see there mother again. That's why clause tryed to avenge her death and tryed to pull the needles but had no heart (that's another theory) and Lucas probably wished to see his mother. Suckish theory right?

This reminds me of the great flood stories. Every culture has simaliar stories of a great flood that wiped out most of mankind and allowed human history to begin again. Isn't that a desire of most all of us? To redo something we feel we've failed at or to start over. Weather it's a failed love affair or a time of life we weren't comfortable with or a chance to save some one we held dear. I Lost my dad when I was very young, but I still imagine what it would be like to have him around now.

To me the end of the world part of this is a cleansing you see all the chimera's in peril, the factory but the people are still intact almost destroying what Pokey/Porky has done, tearing Tazmily Village apart turning it back from a city back to a "Village." I was expecting it to be even sadder when this video began, but instead I was greeted with an Orville commercial saying, "The bag that needs no bowl! My idea of the world being destroyed is cuz like the whole world is in Evil's image or in this case Porky suppose that now the world will be rid of all the warped creatures and etc and the world would possibly go back to way it was 3 years prior to the events of the game. Also about the dragon i think majority did win but some of Porky's vision still remained of a world without anybody. meh just a theory is all

Claus' suicide reminded me of Luke's from the Percy Jackson series.

Maybe he only had control over himself for that little amount of time, and after that, he'd be Porky's slave again and pull the needle. Porky said he was a robot, so maybe his realization could be seen as almost a glitch in his system. Like Luke, he only had control of himself for a matter of seconds before he killed himself and Kronos, ensuring an end to the war.

That's just my thought, though.

Really, since the Magypsies said they couldn't feel a heart pass onto the dragon, so if that logic happens to be true, then nothing would actually pass from Claus to the Dark Dragon, but Lucas had a pure heart, as you could infer from the story, so his heart would pass on light to the Dark Dragon. And another idea, maybe, since the man in the center of the hieroglyphics held it with both hands, and not just one, or the other, it means both hearts will merge to fuel the Dark Dragon?
