@whiteboypatrickkelly Hi! Kuhli Loach are usually social fish, so it will be best to have at least 6 of them in your tank so that they will feel safer in a group, and therefore more darling to venture out in the open during the days... Have fun! =)
@aurorasnightsavers HI! They are scavengers and will dig around the substrate for food and also to hide for safety... So keep them happy with more substrate! =)
Hi! So you're from SG! I'm from SG too. May I know how much you purchase this loach for? And where did you purchase it at? I've recently bought 10 neon tetras and added some ghost shrimps and 2 golden Chinese algae eater. Will upload a video soon.
The loaches was bought long ago, think maybe 60 cts to 80 cts each depending on the sizes.... Ghost shrimp is not really a good choice for community tank since it will attack your neon tetras... :p
@RPGL07 Hi, Kuhli Loach are scavenger, some may not come out openly to eat or even like to feed only in darkness... Does your Kuhli Loach looks thin?
Without more information, it is actually quite hard to help you... Just have to make sure that the water condition is good, clean with suitable PH level, and there are no parasites in your tank.... Think the Kuhli Loach can usually take care of themselves.... Good luck! : )
i never see y kuhlis eat but they keep getting fatter its because they are scavengers they eat all the S**t in the substrate (im guessing you feed them during the day and they don't like to feed during the day ) once a month i put a large algae wafer in and they come out to eat them :)
I'm using Canon S5 IS Camera which is available more than 2 years back... I'm shooting this is Macro Mode thou, and I'm actually quite happy with the video quality of the camera too...
i have a question i bought two yesterday i will be getting more soon and i guess they went under the gravel and i didnt see them at all and this morning one has came out but i havnt seen the other one should i be worried?
@Bazil1869 Don't worry! I used to have some that were never seen till 6 months later! They will come out more often when they feel safe, especially if you have a bigger group of more than 6,,, Have fun!
