@LowOIL God is the creator of the world and all that is in it. We have been created by God and are fundamentally called "good" by God.

Obviously, we are all complicit in sin: individually and communally. But there is no sin in ethical, life-affirming behavior which follows from our natural, created selves. Rather, sinful behavior undermines our true identity as God's chosen, beloved people, by rejecting God's goodness, justice, and/or mercy. That is the sin from which we need redemption.
