well that new car has gone to waste by an idiot driver driving it! i understand blind spot sidewipes but that kind of sideswipe is really stupid driving! maybe he did it on purpose as it looks like he wanted to cut off semi but semi did let him which is really understandable then at rear he clips it! only hurting his car! nice captures!
Notice at :53 the black tractor trailer had its left turn signal for middle lane change after the Stroeman bread truck cleared the lane..simutaneously while coming into the middle lane the van switches lanes with out signals and from a blind spot..of the truck..the van was traveling to close behind for the truck driver to even see the van..ur forgetting there is no windshield rear view mirror..the only view trucks have of traffic behind them is from side mirrors..the sentra was totally at fault
I agree with zepplinfan9000. Trucker drivers drive for a living and I trust them more than other passenger vehicles.
Sadly, most people, espeically in New York, have no respect for them. I've seen trucks try to merge forever and people just keep driving, ignoring the truck driver's request.
I let them merge and usually, some bozo starts honking his/her horn. I also give them the right of way. Get hit by one of those and you can kiss you car goodbye.
The inattention of the black Nissan is as follows..whether changing from right to left lanes or left to right a clear path is needed to make the switch. There was none. Reasoning being he exited too late from the CENTER lane..not the right lane adjacent to the off ramp which he should have been in prior to the exit he wanted to get off of. The truck was clearly in his path to cut over two lanes of travel which the truck was trying to avoid when the car miscalculated and drove into HIM!
If the Nissan even got into an accident, it was the Nissan's fault, not the trucks fault. He made the decision way too late and should have got off at the next exit.
And you've accomplished nothing by adding all the information from this random car that has nothing to do with you basically ALL over the internet. I don't mean to be a jerk but maybe all the bad drivers are distracted by everyday items such as VIDEO CAMERAS!
Umm, I have a tiny video recorder that is held in place by few 3M sticky velcro things, All I gotta do is press record before I start driving, and hit stop when I'm done.
Eject the SD card, place it into my laptop's port, and upload.
What was this recorded with, a celery stick?

too bad , you drive unsafely , your information and video is going to be all over the internet, including inattentive reckless driving.
people don't want their reckless driving driving documented, drive safely and responsibly.
video camera are now under 150 that will document everthing, place it on the dash, and that all that needs to be done.
