Do you use your chest a lot when you hold the advanced tuck planche? Like do you feel your chest burn or is it just me? I can do it on the floor but when I use the rings it gets way harder.
Yeah the chest plays its part. The rings are going to be much harder compared to the floor. Rings don't have any stability, you'll be trying to prevent your arms from flying out the side as well as using them to keep yourself up. But if it works for ya go nuts! Quite a feat to get in on the rings =)
@zxshadowx Never. I used to but its a matter of how flexible your wrists are and how flexible they become and then comes looking after them. If you're careful and take care of them then you really won't have any problems.
get the dominic lacasse training video...i have one and it made me stronger in just a month....his videos includes handstand, human flag, planche, etc......
Pretty good. Try doing it with your fingers pointing backwards. It forces your shoulders to work harder to keep your balance so you don't fall forward. xP
How did you develop the strength to get to that stage of planche training? How did you know you were ready to move to that stage?

Hey are those specific wrist exercises you were doing at the start?
I've been working on these progressions for a while but my wrists still hurt sometimes..

Well not specific exercises but it helped to loosen my wrists at the time :o)
If they hurt try a do little wrist rotations and maneuvers to warm them up before doing anything.
What I do is write the alphabet with my hands :o)
It really does help! :o)
