Meia Lua, when I last spoke my native language, meant "half moon" which, in Portuguese (not Tupi Guarany) perfectly describes the shape of a round-house kick. If you prefer the better known name for this technique in Japanese, it is Mawashi Geri Ura, though I imagine it was used in West Africa long before karatedo was "invented" in Japan. For taking or neutralising a gun threat, Kote Gaeshi or Nikkyo Ura may be more effective than any capoeira technique... I hope this helps for the next video.
