I got mine from the Harry Potter exhibition for $50AU, no case. When I looked on the WB website it was $40 (im not sure whether thats AU or US) My dad thinks it was a rip off but I love it so much!

Finally got the map again, received it today in the mail and from looking at it and what I'm able to see in my video and what I remember there are some slight changes. Also I can see now how it's attached in certain places. Think I'll do a quick little video pointing these things out soon.

lol they dont explain this properly in the movie amb4901. moony is proffesor lupin, wormtail is peter pettigrew, padfoot is sirius black and prongs is harrys dad james potter. no offence but u need to read the books to understand this stuff properly :) the movies are terrible at explaining most of the plots and sub-plots.

@AvisNZL I did read the books, what I said about it had nothing to do with the actual meaning from the books/movie. But yes they never did add that part into the movie and I wish they did.

@amb4901 well the names came out in the movie in different scenes if you know what i mean. in the 4th one when pettigrew met voldemort again he called him wormtail and when severus caught harry "sleepwalking" and lupin came i think severus called him moony. in 5th one if i remember correctly alastor called sirius padfoot. and in severus worst memory someone called james prongs. i know i could be wrong but i think that they all still came out you know.

@Duupf it isn't real parchment paper, it's just paper made to look like it is. I think it would make the replica alot nicer if it was on real parchment paper though. Yea WBshop sells noble collection items through there store.

i got a marauders map with the "harry potter film wizardry", but it is much smaller then the 'real' one, and some of the 'pages' are missing. and some are inthe wrong places, like the overview of the castle and forest, it is in it, but not like in this one that you show. and you can see the underground tunnels (the ones in the "end"), but there are no flaps as in this version. The one i got is still cool and nice, but ill am going to try and making my own, more accurate than the one ive got haha

@EatMyCrayonzz Really it depends, since Like I said this is a nice replica. I would say get something from there favorite book/movie so that way it's more special. I've tended to like the 3rd movie best and the 5th book best myself. Thats Why I plan to get the map again and the time turner, nothing real special from book 5 except the prophecy which I don't plan to get. That or if they have a favorite magical item that obtainable.

She is kind of picky though.

Would you say it's fairly detailed? She doesn't need it perfect, but if you can only see roughly a quarter of the school I might not get it.

@pentmon Well what do you like from the movies? Wands are a good place to start since they aren't that expensive. Get one that fits your taste, check out RogueSock's videos since he did a 2 part on almost all the wands. I myself really liked Lupin's Wand, and I also have Dumbeldore's for the significance.

Then if you still want to go further, start getting some of your favorite magical items. I plan to get a Time turner at some point and probably one of the artifact box's.

So..I've been wondering this a while and thought you might know. I have 2 different versions of the Map. One came with the Half Blood Prince DVD, that I got for Christmas. I already had the movie so I kept it for the map. I have another one that came from the book Harry Potter: Film Wizardry. I'm not sure if either of these are noble collection. The one that came with the dvd is much wider, has a Harry Potter logo and Warner Bros copyright stuff on the back. The one I got with the book doesn't.

@ProfessorPoopy From my understanding the one that came with the DVD is just a mini version of the noble one, I don't think it has as much detail. The one with the book I've never seen so I couldn't tell you for sure.

6. Is this worth getting, if you didn't watch till the end of the video I'll say it here to. I think it's a pretty good replica for the price, I'm sure they could make it more accurate by using better quality paper and add the changes from HBP (unless they did in the newer releases).

Think I covered everything. I also plan on getting the time turner at some point aswell. Not gonna do the wands I have since there are tones of videos out there. But yea will do some more videos down the line.

4. Yes what you see in the reflection of the case in Part 1 is a WALL E poster, I have a Ratatouille poster right next to it.

2. for those asking for scans (when I get it again) I'm not gonna do it since thats a lawsuit waiting to happen. It doesn't cost alot so just go out and buy it.

3. As to where to buy from and price. Like said I got mine from WBShop for $35, noble collection also has it for the same price but I've had better luck with WBShop so I recommended them. Also If you look around there is usually a sale or a coupon you can use.

First off at the moment I don't have this piece anymore, had to sell it off for financial reasons but plan on getting it again very soon, I probably won't get the case this time around though.

this map is uncomplete! i got it, too. i looked harry potter 3 and you can see, when harry saw pettigrew, that the card is uncomplete. there missing some pages, that arent schown in the film... really bad

it's hard to say if they will do it or not. I would think they would have something up saying that it is accurate to the half blood prince version or would make an announcement saying they were bringing that version out. They should in my opinion.
