I just want to say, I flew with this plane in First Class with these exact seats and I LOVED it! Best experience ever for my first time in First Class. The seat turned completely into a bed and it was fun playing games. Best flight ever.
@Bigrippa96 yes, you have to step over the guy next to you if they have their seat all the way down...If you're tall its not that difficult but a shorter person might have some trouble.
@DeanHynd94 Sort of...Continental only has what they call BusinessFirst on their international aircraft. They have a regular not lie flat seat for their domestic first class.
@DeanHynd94 Depends on the airplane...all of the CAL 777s have the lie flat. They are in the process of upgrading the 757-200s with them so you may or may not have the lie flat depending on which 757-200 you are on. If you go to continental website, flight status, seat map and the first class seats are shown slanted, then they are lie flat. The non lie flat are shown straight just like the coach seats.
@packs5100 Not sure...I imagine they will keep them in the CAL airplanes for at least a few years including the 787, but the new United is going to have to figure out how to standardize their interiors as there is quite a mix between the CAL and United airplanes. It will be interesting to see which way the new United decides to go. I prefer the BusinessFirst option.
i remember when my school got a tour of the COA 777

is there any advantage in the bulkheadseats? More legspace that allows more space to get out of the window seat?
zs2490 5 months ago
@zs2490 yep, a little more legroom up at the bulkhead seats.

What will happen with these seats since the merger?
Thecutecoolguy 7 months ago
@Thecutecoolguy I think they will keep them and hopefully they will start installing them in the United airplanes.

so if your sitting on the far right of the plane how do you get to the aisle, do you have to step over someone?

Awesome. I wonder if the UA merger is going to include these seats for business class or are they gonna rip them out?
