  • Oh my God! I love you Londoner's! You know real music. I live in states (Dallas, Texas) and music over here has gone to the dogs mate. Please...please don't stop sharing. My life long dream is to come to London and bar hop for weeks. I love the culture and I love the London people. Keep it coming.

  • heard this back in 81, had an old BUSH system with a treble echo button and always played this track on that!! AMAZING DISTANT SOUND, SO BEAUTIFUL, if anyone knows what im talking about , youll know what i mean

  • Slaney, ur killin me bro with these tunes. Please, stop adding them so I can go bed and actually sleep. Had the stereo up sharing them with the neighbours givin them a little bit of culture. Born and bread in Hackney E5 (Clapton Pk Estate, Kingsmead etc). Slightly younger than u guys I think at 38 but ma sister is 10 years older and educated me to these choooons. Now she's married a Kingsmead boy the education just keeps growing. Bless bruv. All good in da hood :-)

  • @Gunghoe i grew up in archway but lived in upper clapton, e5 for a few years...im now further up north london, it seems to be the way its going.. Im loving the london connections going on here....loving the tunes and would love a few of these in my selection..

    Is there any stations in london playing these sounds ?

  • @1981timur Nah mate. Seems radio has gone all House n Garage, Drum n Bass n Bashment. Radio 1, Capital n Kiss seem to play the same songs every Hour on the Hour which becomes EXTREEMLY boring. I would love to find a station that plays these classics. Lets thank God for Playlists aye :-)

  • Played this tune all the time in house parties - always had a party in "Clarence Road Hackney" and i was always on the bill, lol

  • @slaneydore I know Clarence road well........used to rave in the east regular.....although i was born and bred in lewisham......but my favourite raves were in the Grove...ladbroke......Lancaste­r road in the big houses......all the big boy djs use to attend.....rare groove paradise.......early eighties i was a teenager but i was around the right people.......oh boy.......bring back those raves......used to go home and come back and the rave still going on till early afternoon.

    Lived on the Eastway Estate in Hackney Wick till i was 17 then moved up to Ainsworth Road "Well St" Moved from there in 1999 when i was 31 up to Hertfordshire Not much Happens up here Bruv, lol
