  • awesome

  • VERY NICE IDEA

  • @PyR0Star

cheers dude, i made an update to this system, its in the video responses if youre interested?!

  • love it,i now what you do with your time now lol

i suppose the next step would be a multi stage multi firing system

and did you ever try the 1/4 watt 25 ohm resistors instead of the filaments? just connect and bung them up the choke into the bp,though i sdid read the impepance on a 9v battery isnt high enough or summat like that..you know mate always after the cheaper option

  • @gandelff999

:) took me half an hour!

yeah, thats the next step, ive got another servo, so i can technically get a 2 cue on the go, but didnt get round to it. probably will end up doing it though.

nah mate, never tried the resistors, still got a shit load of christmas tree lights, so ill use them up first! but yeah the resistors are dirt cheap!

  • very cool, i just use an estes motor ignitor. its cheap, and even comes with ignitor caps. but the only catch is it has a wire.

  • @TheBombBros

    cheers mate,

cool, sounds good, yeah maybe you could upgrade one day to wireless. but it doesnt make that much differance if im being honest!

  • @murdoch2486 well, i usually just handfire.

but i havent shot one thing since july!

i just been so caught up in fishing.

  • @TheBombBros

    i see,

no way! i dont think i could go that long! :P

fair do's, nothing wrong with a bit of fishing!

  • @murdoch2486 oh, i will be gettting back into it. i just dont know when. maybe ill make a video soon.

    cheers mate

    take it easy

  • awsome!

  • @PyrotechnicsNL

    cheers dude :)

  • LOL! I made a similar one with exactly the same working methods! =P

  • @HandMadeFireworks

    its so simple isnt it!

    but works great!

  • Very very clever!!

  • @pyr0ph1L

    well ya'know! :P

    cheers mate

  • looks impressive mate fire up that big shell with all the crossettes

  • @KMnO4dalla

    :)

    thanks mate

  • haha, awesome,

  • @s7vendays11

    cheers mate!

  • So great! i have of course lots of rc-components laying around, and now i know what to use it for, good move mate, very creative, have you tried parallell it with maby 3-4 matches? does it have the power? oh, just add more batteries and it should be possible (i like it alot)

  • @skyisthelimitinc

thanks a lot mate, yeah you are into RC planes arnt ya?! shouldnt be a problem for you, really simple design!

thats the one thing i forgot to put in the vid, yeah it does work, i got up to 5 matches on one 9v battery, but yeah you are right, you could just add more battery power on a bigger hump pack for more matches!

    thanks for bringing it up!

let me know how you get on, if you give it ago!

  • @murdoch2486 He** yea! ill give it a go for sure, maby today already, got my 4" crossette ready still, maby i should make the e device and pop it with that new design

  • @skyisthelimitinc

nice one, pop down to radioshack, raid the shed for bits and bobs, and youll be right!

wow! really looking forward to that!

make sure you get that filmed!

    good luck buddy

  • @murdoch2486 All items are already ripped from one of my old rc planes, im working on the system as we speak, ill film it, i always do;)

  • @skyisthelimitinc

    haha, awesome!

    bet you out-do me! :P

    looking forward to it mate

  • Thats damn nice

  • @Krisu1231

    :)

    glad you liked it

  • Very nicely done!

  • @ChuKoNu1

    thanks a lot mate

your homemade systems sparked my interest, so... thankyou!

  • @HazzWold1993

cheers mate, i havent had it fail on me yet, so fingers crossed!

  • nice one

    good safe distance

  • @daron69

    thanks a lot mate

yeah, the rocket was more of a test to see how far it could be launched from, after that, we tested it at about 300m, not thinking it would work, but it did!

this crappy radio gear is always suprising me!

  • nice job

  • @vh718

    cheers buddy

  • nice work, "sandwiches optional" lol

im thinking of buying a 12Q wireless firing system

  • @theartilerysheller1

    :)

awesome, thatd be neat, are they expensive?

  • @murdoch2486 not really, the one that im looking at is ~200USD

  • @theartilerysheller1

not that bad then for a pro firing system?

you going to go for it?

  • @murdoch2486 yup, 12 cue pro firing system; im definitely going to buy it before new years eve

  • @theartilerysheller1

nice one, be perfect for new years!
